Honestly, the itinerary is good. We arrived at Yehliu slightly before 8 AM, which made us among the first few tourists in the entire park. Yangmingshan was supposedly the focus of the day tour, but we had very misty, foggy weather and didn't get to see many views 😂. Nevertheless, I liked this tour; 7:30 AM to 2 PM is not very tiring. Our driver, Mr. Zhou, is friendly, and he bought baked sweet potatoes to treat us. The team that organized the tour and the pick-up/drop-off services is very professional and efficient. But be aware that this is a carpool service, not a guided tour, so it might not be suitable for everyone.

Our Lava Guide's explanations of points of interest during the trip, along with brief insights into Taiwan, restaurant recommendations, and dessert suggestions, made the time fly by. It was so much fun and never boring. Even though it was Chinese New Year and there were many people and heavy traffic, making crowd management difficult, we were grateful that the guide maintained the same cheerful demeanor throughout!

The guide was professional, calm, and subtly humorous, which I really appreciated! Except for Jiufen, which couldn't be avoided, they chose times when there were fewer people and led us through shortcuts, making it great to visit all the desired spots quickly.

Great tour for those who prefer a small group in a private van. Our driver Ted was very helpful and attentive to us since it was a bit rainy during our trip. Still had fun despite the weather.

Yehliu Geopark is one of the most unique natural attractions in Taiwan and definitely worth visiting. The park is famous for its incredible rock formations that were shaped over thousands of years by wind, sea water, and natural erosion. Walking along the coastal pathways feels like exploring an outdoor natural sculpture park. The most iconic formation is the Queen’s Head, which many visitors line up to see and photograph, but there are also many other interesting rocks like the Candle Rocks, and Mushroom Rocks. Aside from the rock formations, the coastal scenery is beautiful with waves crashing against the shoreline and the open sea. The park is well organized with clear walking paths, making it easy to explore different sections. It can get crowded, especially around the Queen’s Head, so visiting early in the morning is recommended. Overall, Yehliu offers a fascinating mix of geology, scenery, and photography spots that make it a memorable stop when visiting Taiwan.

A truly worthwhile trip! Joining the 8-nation tour group was a fascinating diplomatic experience, meeting people from different countries. The mountain cherry blossoms on Yangmingshan in spring were exceptionally beautiful and abundant. The bald cypress forest, coupled with the morning mist, looked just like a scene from a Korean drama. The set meal at Zhuzihu earned high praise from our foreign friends, who raved about the delicious Taiwanese mountain cuisine. Many thanks to Mr. Sun and the three drivers for their comprehensive care, which made for an excellent experience.
