The guide was very informative and spoke good English. The timing of the walk was fantastic, being early morning, so there were fewer crowds. We got really good pictures from those places. It was to the point. The transport was via metro and train, so it was very nice, but you need to be ready for a lot of walking. That was not an issue with us. I highly recommend this kind of tour.

I took this tour with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide, Aki, was kind, informative, and always made sure no one was left behind. I really enjoyed the historical facts she provided as we walked through the gardens of Tenryu-ji Temple. The photos speak for themselves regarding how beautiful it was. After reading the reviews, I wasn't expecting much from the lunch buffet, but I actually liked it. It gave me Japanese school camp mess hall vibes and was tasty. Everything went according to plan, and based on my experience, I would 100% recommend this tour. However, I understand that some people are unlucky when the boat ride is canceled due to low water levels or excessive rain, and the river ride is a huge part of the experience. My family and I, together with my wife and our 7 year old daughter, joined a wonderful day tour visiting Katsuoji Temple, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, and the famous Kiyomizu-dera. The entire trip was well organized and very enjoyable for all of us. Each destination offered something special. Katsuoji Temple was peaceful and unique with its many Daruma dolls, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove was breathtaking, and Kiyomizu-dera was truly impressive with its beautiful views and historic atmosphere. What made the tour even more memorable was our guide, Nick. He was entertaining, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Throughout the trip he shared interesting facts, stories, and historical insights about each location, making the journey both fun and educational. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for my family. Nick’s enthusiasm and guidance made the tour smooth, engaging, and very memorable. Highly recommended for families visiting Osaka and Kyoto.

I was very impressed with both the guide, Mr. Chan, and the tour program. It's a bit of a shame that today was very windy and cold, and the river water level was low, so the boat trip program was canceled. However, we received a refund for that part (though not the full amount). I was very impressed. For the route after that, we only had 2.5 hours. If you could endure not having a proper lunch, you could cover everything, but we were hungry, so we ate at a teahouse for half an hour (many delicious shops). We didn't go to the monkey park because we don't like monkeys, but we went straight to Tenryu-ji Temple and then to the bamboo forest, which has a path leading down along the river back to the main road. If you don't shop around or queue for coffee at famous shops, you can make it to the Kimono Forest in time. I recommend using AI to help plan your walking route to make it smoother. In summary, the guide was excellent, much better than other routes (judging from asking other guides while waiting for the car; others were very moody, even if they were from the same company). This was a tour I used while contemplating my first trip to Japan with just my son. I had a lot of worries, but thanks to our guides Ruri and Woohui, who are fluent in both Korean and English, and our bus driver who drove safely, we were able to have a fun and enjoyable tour. The places they recommended at each tour point were also excellent. I plan to use this tour again next time. It would be great if we could meet again then! Thank you!
