Passeios por Imperial Palace

Brendan was really great! I saw his tour yesterday, and I’m at the Edo-Tokyo Museum today and so much makes more sense after having done his tour of the Imperial Palace. The explanations in the museum are a bit dry and dense with facts, and I don’t have a lot of connection to annecdotes which help me remember what happened and why. Brendan’s tour really helped fill in some of that for me, and provided me a much better context. I’d recommend to anyone — do his tour first, before the museum, for greater understanding!

I joined a 3 hour bike tour with Rinto and had a very enjoyable experience. The route showcased beautiful areas around Minato, Tokyo, and Shibuya, places that are often overlooked when traveling by train or car. Exploring the city by bike made it easier to feel the atmosphere and truly appreciate the surroundings. The tour was definitely worth the price. The experience was both fun and engaging, especially for travelers who enjoy discovering a city in a more active and immersive way. A few small improvements could make the tour even better. Gentle reminders about biking safely and being aware of pedestrians would be helpful in busy areas. Providing helmets and basic safety gear could also add comfort. At times the tour guide was a bit fast, so a slightly slower pace would help guest keep up. Overall, it was a great tour and a unique way to explore Tokyo.

The tour was okay, but there was a lot of walking, and the tour guides unknowingly walked very fast, so the tourists weren't able to fully appreciate the places they walked through on the way to the itineraries. A slightly slower walking pace would make a big difference. Tour Guides Jorge and Fran are very knowledgeable and explain things very well. They are highly commendable.

What an Amazing and Fun day around the city with Zeeshan. The carseat was included!!! Yey. We traveled with 5 people, 2 little kids (5 and 2). What a smooth day with our driver. He was such an accommodating and kind driver. The itinerary changed a lot tailored to what we needed at the moment and where we wanted to go. At first, we had a set itinerary but because we stayed at one place too long it was okay with our driver. Zeeshan always had a smile on his face, even if it was such a long day.

Tuvimos un pequeño recorrido en grupo por los jardines imperiales con Keiko y ella hizo un excelente trabajo explicando la historia del palacio y del Japón feudal, e incluso incluyó algunas historias personales de su familia. ¡Los jardines son hermosos y la historia es asombrosa!

Our group had a great time and experience with this short tour! We had signed up the day before, but had no issues at all. It was a small tour group of 6 people. Our tour guide, Nonoka, provided fun knowledge and historical facts about Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace area throughout the tour! Her English was very good and clear. In addition, we were given a digital QR code for a self-guided English tour of the East Imperial Garden, which we were brought to the entrance of as the last tour location on the itinerary. Overall, I highly recommend it!!!

We had two great tour guides, but unfortunately we forgot their names. It was a great mixture of sightseeing with background information and the opportunity to drive around with some locals. We had a really nice talk with each other and, of course, learned something about the city and the buildings. We booked the night ride and we can recommend it. We started at Yoyogi Park at the clock tower and had a nice ride through the city, passing through the most famous places like Shibuya and to the Tokyo Tower, etc. We ended at Tokyo Station. And the time was perfect. It began at 5:45 PM until 7:45 PM/8:00 PM. After that, we had enough time to have dinner. Our guides told us that the evening tour is less booked, so it often happens that there are not many people in your group. We were two people, so we had kind of a private tour, which was really nice. Maybe the owners can write the names of the two guides, because they did a really good job. We had our evening tour on September 27th, 2025.

We had a fantastic day with Robert as our guide. He had a well planned day, with a copy of the itinerary for all four of us, which made the kids feel included. Robert was very informative, explaining each area we visited with great local insights. The tour ran on time, with an easy meet up location right near our local accommodation. A highly recommended tour.
