Kaori, our guide, has exceptional language skills! She's perfectly fluent in Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, so communication was absolutely seamless! When we visited the park, lake, and Lawson, she explained in advance what was famous and where everything was, which allowed us to enjoy ourselves without any confusion! She also mentioned that there were 80 steps to the first observatory at the shrine, and then about 380 or 390 steps from the first to the second observatory. My mother had knee surgery, so our family couldn't visit the shrine and opted to go to a cafe instead. Kaori readily agreed and just asked us to return on time, so we enjoyed a relaxing time at a cafe with a wonderful view of Mount Fuji before heading back. Although it was a shame not to see Mount Fuji from the shrine, it was great to spend a comfortable time with my family. I highly recommend her to everyone; the seamless communication is a huge advantage! She even opened a KakaoTalk chat, so there was no need to install Line or other apps!
