Coisas para fazer em Tai O

We recently joined the Tai O Fishing Village sightseeing trip. We took a bus from Tung Chung Bus Terminal to Tai O, which took about 30–45 minutes. Upon arrival, it was easy to locate the boarding pier; just look out for the signboard displaying the Klook sign. We simply scanned the QR code before boarding the boat. The boat ride lasted around 20 minutes and offered a good view of the traditional fishing houses built on stilts, which are one of Tai O’s most iconic sights. The boat then ventured further out into the waters in search of the famous pink dolphins, but unfortunately, we were not able to spot any. After the boat tour, we spent a little time exploring the small village on foot. The village has some small local shops. We stopped at a shop to try the absolutely delicious cream puff (donut) and topped them with ice cream. Check it out if you are there!

Such a fantastic tour. The tour guide Jason was very helpful and guided us very well. I am so impressed. Definitely recommend.

Nós fomos sob um sol escaldante, com bom tempo. Fomos na cabine de cristal. Do lado direito há mais paisagem - aeroporto, ponte grande... (na verdade, vê-se mais claramente do avião, ela não é alta o suficiente). Mas do lado esquerdo, no final, é possível ver o Grande Buda e o Mosteiro de Po Lin. Na cabine de cristal, as pessoas parecem estar em cima da água e da floresta. Mais tarde descobri que o anúncio do Ngong Ping 360 na verdade promove a cabine panorâmica. Acredito que a cabine panorâmica parecerá mais com "pessoas no ar". Quando chegamos lá em cima, ainda havia decorações de 20 anos, embora tivessem acabado de terminar. Há o restaurante Ngong Ping para você tirar fotos (fazer check-in). Dentro da cabine há apenas aberturas de ventilação, é um pouco abafado. Na viagem de volta, fomos na cabine padrão antes do pôr do sol, às 18:00h, por causa do verão, e havia nuvens cobrindo o sol. É recomendável ter mais tempo, 5 horas ou mais, se você quiser subir para ver o Grande Buda, além de visitar o Mosteiro de Po Lin. Eu não subi naquele dia, além de não ter tempo suficiente, estava muito ensolarado; o tempo só ficou nublado perto das 17h. Eu já tinha subido antes, então não subi; só que da última vez fui de ônibus, subi apenas no Grande Buda e não fui ao Mosteiro de Po Lin.

The instructor was not only kind and friendly, but also shared many local customs, traditions, and the cultural background of the Hakka boat people, which was very educational. There were also mooncake and traditional pastry classes held at the same venue, and I would consider signing up for other classes when I have time. It was a wonderful experience. The package also included a boat tour to see the Chinese white dolphins; the boat ride was a bit short and left us wanting more.

If you don’t want to line up for tickets going to The Peak, this is definitely the best option for you. The staff assisted me right away where to enter and scan my QR code to enter and wait for the Tram going up and the same goes when you leave. I had a great time exploring The Peak and would definitely go back with my family or friends there!

The cable car staff and guides were all very kind and made learning about and sightseeing Tai O Fishing Village and the Tian Tan Buddha enjoyable. I don't think I would have been able to visit Tai O Fishing Village on my own, nor would I have learned about its history. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning about Hong Kong's rich history. We took the cable car back after 4 PM, and it was very crowded, so you might want to consider a priority pass, such as the Crystal Cabin.

Me encantó este tour. Cada parte fue una experiencia maravillosa y a mis hijos también les gustó mucho. Sin embargo, el guía turístico era insoportable y necesitaba callarse; a los 45 minutos de su charla interminable, tuve que hablar con mi esposo al otro lado del pasillo del autobús y él me regañó como a un niño diciéndome que no lo interrumpiera (llevaba literalmente 45 minutos de monólogo sin fin). Aparte de esto, todas las «paradas» fueron increíbles.

Post-trial feedback: This package is truly a great value! From the moment we entered and took off our shoes to being escorted to the room, the staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making us feel right at home. When it was time to change for the spa, although the spa area was a bit small, it offered complete privacy, and there was even a cold green tea and a cold towel ready for use, which was very thoughtful! In the Kwun Tong area, having a spa, facial, and body massage is quite rare. The facial itself was incredibly comfortable; although the products used were a bit ordinary, for a price of just over 300 HKD, I understand that you can't expect too much! Finally, the massage therapist came in, and they were truly skilled, applying plenty of pressure without holding back at all—definitely commendable! Regarding the package price, it's really worth considering. There's absolutely no hard selling, and it's worth experiencing firsthand. Joining a plan later on isn't very expensive either; for just a few hundred HKD, you get all three services. In the past, this might have cost four figures, so it's an incredible deal! I especially appreciate the manager's meticulous attention to detail—100% excellent! 👍🏻

What a great way to tour around the city! We had the best time sightseeing, appreciating, and learning the history of each stop. It was a great bonus to do this on such a fine day! Having been on this tour made it easier for us to explore — less stress and more convenient! We encourage anyone visiting to try this as well.
