The tour guides we met this time were Bamboo and Aim. They were very friendly and provided useful travel information about Wukiu, such as the 1155 tourist dispute hotline, which has English and Chinese-speaking tourist police available 24/7 to assist with disputes and reporting. The journey was smooth, so it wasn't easy to get motion sickness. There were also charging ports on the tour bus (not sure if every bus has them). The tour that departed at 9:30 AM returned to the meeting point around 5:00 PM, and luckily, there was no traffic jam. We arrived at the Maeklong Railway Market around 10:50 AM at the end of August, just in time to see the train arrive at 11:10 AM and depart at 11:30 AM. The items on both sides of the tracks were a bit expensive; it's cheaper to walk towards the main road where there are more vendors. At the floating market, we were arranged into groups of six per boat. The boat would constantly stop at stalls selling goods, but they were overpriced. Unless you want the experience, it's not recommended to buy anything. The tour guide thoughtfully reminded everyone of this before we disembarked and also shared reasonable bargaining ranges for different areas. After getting off the boat at the floating market, there was time for lunch. The last stop, the Buffalo Restaurant, only offered coffee, desserts, and ice cream, not main meals. We spent about an hour at each of the two main locations and half an hour at the Buffalo Restaurant. Overall, I found it to be a very worthwhile trip and highly recommend it.

It was a very special trip. The tour guide explained in both Chinese and English and was very dedicated. Because the new highway was open, we arrived at Maeklong Railway Station 30 minutes early. If we had arrived early, we should have had more time for a meal, so we didn't have much time to eat. We saw the train at 11:00 and had to board at 11:20. We arrived at the floating market at noon. The original plan was to leave at 3:00, but the guide said we had to leave at 2:00 so everyone could use the restroom. We returned to the starting point around 4:00 PM, an hour earlier than expected. We could only wander around the area. As soon as we got on the bus, the guide informed us that tips were not included, so it was up to us to decide whether to tip or not 😂😂😂. This tour was very special, and having a little more time to explore would have been very interesting, but it felt like the guide was in a hurry.

We had a great time and so much fun with Mr Coconut! It was a half-day tour and he explained everything and took so many photos of us. Definitely recommended. He’s a good tour guide ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

P'Nok was an amazing tour guide. She was very attentive to making sure everyone was accounted for and assisted with any questions we had about anything. She had a great sense of humor that kept me laughing too. The tour itself was fun and worth the value paid. The bus was well cooled for us to escape the heat. I felt safe the entire time.

I was paired with the guide Champ, and he was attentive, patient, helpful, and funny. He made the tour quite a lovely experience. I left my phone at one of the cafes, and he had a Grab driver drop it off at my hotel. He helped with taking pictures and shared some of the history of Thailand – the floating market and the cafes. He offered helpful suggestions on how to bargain with the locals in the market. The only thing that could have improved was the weather... I was literally soaked in sweat by the time we finished. You will definitely need a portable fan; don't risk a heat stroke trying to look cool 🙃 I met a lovely couple from Australia who made the experience a touch better. Overall, don't hesitate to book, even as a solo traveler! Just bring enough cash, water, and a fan... there are no ATMs near the locations we went. I used most of my cash in the first two markets like a dummy 😂

I booked this tour twice. First in 2023 with my husband, then in Aug 2026 with my mom. And like the first time, everything was well organized, and we had a great experience. Our driver and tour guide, Warin, was wonderful throughout the entire trip. He was very kind and informative. He shared interesting information about the places we visited and took very good care of us from start to finish. We appreciated his thoughtful touches, like providing free ice-cold water and lending us a hand fan because of the heat. Warin is also a great photographer! He took so many nice photos of us. Driver, tour guide, and photographer all in one! The itinerary was packed, but everything went smoothly. It was a great experience exploring attractions outside Bangkok.
