The Maeklong Railway was a truly unique experience. It was fascinating to see the vendors along the tracks quickly pack up their goods to make way for the approaching train. My only regret is that I wanted to experience the lively atmosphere of a floating market, but the Amphawa Floating Market wasn't quite what I had imagined. If you're looking for a strong sense of trading with vendors directly on the water, you'll find the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market tour much more interesting.

I highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Yang Ke, was extremely professional and enthusiastic. The timing at each attraction was perfect, making the trip fulfilling without feeling tiring. His explanations along the way were vivid and insightful, and he thoughtfully arranged ample breaks between segments, making the experience very relaxed and comfortable. Even though this wasn't my first visit to Thailand, Yang Ke's perspective allowed me to rediscover the beauty of this city. The scenery along the floating market and railway was particularly unforgettable. From the transportation arrangements to the pace of the itinerary, everything was impeccable. It was a perfect trip that left me with lasting memories!

It's the best way to start my Bangkok solo trip. The entire flow of the trip was so smooth and I really had an amazing time especially because of our tour guide, Alex! 😁 He took the time to explain everything both in Chinese and English and would accommodate every inquiry you have. Never regret booking this tour trip!!!

The itinerary was very comfortable. Both the driver and tour guide were very safety-conscious. Our guide, Ah Sheng, spoke excellent Chinese and explained everything in great detail. The experience of taking the train into the market is highly recommended. Although it was the low season for the floating market and not many shops were open, the smaller crowds made for a different kind of comfortable experience. There was some traffic on the way back, but we still arrived back at the hotel around the estimated time.👍

The driver and Chinese tour guide gave us a good amount of free time! Communication was seamless! And because there were elderly people in our group, the driver was especially attentive, helping them get on and off the vehicle! It was very heartwarming! Our tour guide, Minmin, was even more dedicated in her introductions, taking us to drink 20 baht coconut water and 25 baht Thai milk tea... everything was wonderful! We suggest that the firefly boat tour could be changed to a leisurely stroll around Amphawa (because this is a place even locals come to visit, perfect for a relaxed walk and sightseeing).

The tour is very nice, I am a solo traveler, she helped me take some nice photos! we visited Mae Klong Railway Market today—such a cool experience! I also had crab fried rice at a seafood restaurant, and it was delicious! Part of our tour got canceled because the Thai princess was visiting, but we still made it to Amphawa Floating Market in the end! After visiting Amphawa Floating Market, we took a boat on the Mekong River and saw so many fireflies—it was beautiful! Sadly, my camera couldn’t capture them. A firefly even landed on my shoulder—I felt so lucky! Such a magical experience.

Tour guide Chris is great! 👍🏻 He's fluent in various languages and considers the needs of every guest. We learned a lot about local history, and the itinerary was arranged very smoothly. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 There was no boring or wasted time.

Because I wanted to visit the famous Maeklong Railway Market and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, and I didn't want to spend too much time planning transportation, I chose this one-day tour. It made getting around much simpler. This tour had several points I found good, and some that could be improved. Pros: 1. This tour happened to have a guide who spoke both Chinese and English fluently. Their Chinese had no noticeable accent, and communication and asking questions were perfectly fine. The driver also drove very steadily. 2. This tour involved taking a train into the railway market, which offers a different experience from watching the train arrive from the ground. However, when boarding the train, it was packed with people, and there was nowhere to sit. So, you might want to consider if you prefer this kind of experience or greeting the train from the ground. 3. The floating market stop was three hours. I initially thought it was too long, but after leisurely browsing and having dinner, it was actually just right. Cons: 1. The pick-up vehicle was a modified van, and the seats didn't have seatbelts. Those concerned about safety should consider this. Also, because it was a modified vehicle, the air conditioning felt very ineffective. 2. The time spent at the railway market was less than an hour (including mealtime). I found it very short and didn't allow for proper browsing. 3. In the evening, there was a firefly watching activity by boat, which was quite unique. However, taking a 30-minute boat ride specifically to see fireflies, only to see them for less than a minute before speeding back, was... well... Another point worth mentioning is that the return trip to Bangkok city center will definitely encounter traffic jams, so please don't schedule any other activities. We arrived in Bangkok city center an hour later than scheduled.

The tour was very organized. We were picked up from our hotel on time by our tour guide, Bee. We enjoyed the Maeklong Railway experience (food, shopping, and the train ride). The fireflies were amazing; we're glad we did not skip that part of the tour. We were able to do a side trip to a mall on our way to the Maeklong Railway, thanks to Bee and our driver.
