Rafting was a lot of fun! It was only slightly thrilling, and even elementary school children could participate without any problems. The guide was also very chatty. Although we couldn't join the firefly tour due to heavy rain at the end, at least we got to see monkeys (not proboscis monkeys) during the boat trip. The guide tried hard to explain in English, but because of his heavy accent, I understood about 70%. However, the guide would observe our reactions and explain things multiple times, making it a great opportunity to practice English speaking and listening.

The only downside was the weather; due to a long drought, the water level was too low for a truly thrilling rafting experience. However, I highly recommend our coach, Ah Ming! Not only is he multilingual, but he also has 23 years of experience and is excellent at keeping the atmosphere lively. He had our group of 10 laughing constantly! He knows the Kiulu River's safe and dangerous zones intimately, allowing us to experience floating in the river in a safe area. We hope to come back again during peak season when the water levels are higher for another experience! 👍

Great hiking experience! Our guide was punctual, very patient with my mum, and always made sure we felt safe throughout the journey. Really appreciated the care and professionalism—made the whole trip enjoyable and stress-free.

Our guide (from Wavehunter) was the best! He didn't just paddle us downstream, but played many fun games, showed us great spots to jump from rocks and swim, and didn't rush to finish! Even though it was the dry season and the rapids were only Grade 1, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend Wavehunters for all levels of thrill-seekers. Our photographer was great too, standing in the water at times, and the pictures were wonderful. Thanks!

Our Tour Guide Jerry was punctual with good vibes throughout our tour. Although I'm the only one who speaks English and most of the joiners were Chinese, he also explained in English so that I will be able to understand and makes sure that all is good. I had a so much fun and enjoyed the tour. He's also willing to take a picture and video on you. So going as solo joiner would not be difficulty ❤️ Highly recommended for Tourguide Jerry's service! Thank you.

Ian, our tour guide, was very informative, cool and accommodating. He always makes sure you are not felt alone in the group. He’ll make you feel you are belong. He constantly giving us the history of the place. This tour is a MUST be on your list tour. Getting away from the city and feeling the cool weather. The Mount Kota was breathtaking. The hanging bridge was great and also the Desa Dairy Farm. We wanted to take the cafe in Desa Farm but we didn’t have much time.

A delightful little place to visit, it’s well-kept and plenty of photo opp although photography is not allowed inside (it’s okay). The souvenir shop is nice too.
