We had a wonderful trip. We were so lucky to be the only participants so we ended up with a private tour. Our guide was helpful when getting in and out if the kajak and he also told us about the area along the way. Our driver Tam was also very talkative. He had a history lesson with my boyfriend the entire drive back to our hotel which was really funny. I would really recommend this trip if you want a beautiful sunset and a more active tour.

It was a wonderful experience especially for my 4 year old grandson. Gliding through the river in total darkness, seeing the trees illuminated by dozens of blinking lights and feeling the fragile fireflies in our hands - is something that we will not be able to forget for a long time. We were also able to take awesome photos during the sunset photo taking stop over. The boat crew were very attentive and provided us with information about not only the fireflies and wildlife but also life of the locals in the vicinity. It’s the perfect way to spend an evening in nature's embrace with the people you love.

Vam apuntar-nos dues famílies, amb 4 adults i 4 nens en total. Ens van recollir a l'hotel a les 7:30 del matí i d'allà vam fer un trajecte de 2 hores i mitja fins al mirador del mont Kinabalu. Hi havia trànsit per les carreteres de la ciutat sortint de Kota Kinabalu cap al mont Kinabalu, però van ser molt flexibles i ens van parar a mig camí perquè els nens poguessin anar al bany. Vam fer moltes fotos al mirador i des d'allà vam anar cap a la granja Desa 🐮 Abans, vam fer una parada ràpida en una fruteria local. El nostre guia, en Jeff, ens va presentar fruites que no havíem vist mai i en vam comprar un o dos de cada per tastar-les 🥭 Estàvem molt emocionats amb fruites que no havíem sentit ni vist mai, com la poma gelea, l'alvocat formatge o la fruita de la pell de serp 😆 L'alvocat formatge tenia una textura i un gust que no semblaven de fruita, com de carbassa dolça al vapor! Boníssim 😋 Des d'allà vam anar a la granja Desa. Com que està en una zona alta a uns 1.500 metres d'altitud, no feia massa calor i s'estava molt bé! Feia un dia esplèndid amb ben a penes núvols, i vam poder fer moltes fotos fantàstiques amb les crestes esmolades del mont Kinabalu de fons. Fins i tot es veia un halo solar? ☀️ En Jeff ens va guiar molt bé per tot el que ens recomanava: menjar un gelat, donar de menjar als vedells i a les cabres, etc. En Jeff, que també és pare de 4 fills, controla molt de vídeos divertits de TikTok i ens ho vam passar d'allò més bé fent gravacions d'allò més divertides en família, els nens estava encantats i nosaltres supercontentos 😁 Després vam dinar en un restaurant proper i vam anar a veure la raflesia 🌺 Estàvem preocupats per si la podríem veure, ja que només floreix entre 5 i 7 dies a l'any, però vam poder veure dues raflesies en floració ✌️ També vam veure capolls i algunes de pansides, una experiència única que només es pot viure allà 👌 A prop hi havia arbres de cacau i de durià! No sabia pas que el durià creixia en un arbre tan alt 😳 Cap a les 3 passades de la tarda, com que els nens ja començaven a estar cansats, vam decidir tornar aviat i vam modificar l'itinerari per emprendre el camí de tornada. El trànsit del matí havia estat llarg 💦 De camí a casa, hi havia un núvol ben curiós penjat al cim del mont Kinabalu. En Jeff ens va dir que allò no era gens habitual 👌 La tornada també va ser una mica embussada, però vam aconseguir tornar a l'hotel cap a les 7 del vespre. Hèiem de tornar a les 5:30, però devia ser per culpa del trànsit i de l'època d'estiu que hi havia tanta acumulació de vehicles. Us recomanem portar una mica més d'efectiu, ja que necessitareu repel·lent d'insectes per a la zona de la raflesia i a algun restaurant no accepten targetes de crèdit. Jeff, moltes gràcies per aquesta excursió tan divertida‼️ Ens ho vam passar molt bé gràcies a les vistes grandioses i a la teva companyia tan atenta. Molt recomanable 👌

The itinerary was very well organized, allowing us to visit several spots in one trip. The duration at each stop was just right, so it never felt rushed. Our first stop was the observation deck, where there were many fruit vendors nearby selling fresh and delicious fruits! The best part was realizing later in the city that the fruit here was actually the cheapest! The farm was also a lot of fun; for 20 Malaysian Ringgit, you could feed milk and forage to the animals, and the yogurt and milk ice cream were amazing! The fish spa was very entertaining, and the tour guide taught us feeding techniques. It was a bit scary at first. Lunch was better than expected, featuring vegetables, meat, and fruit. The tour included a complimentary ATV experience, allowing us to ride through the wilderness. We were very lucky to see a Rafflesia flower this time; although it had been blooming for five days and was starting to turn dark, there was still an unopened bud right next to it. On the way back, we had roasted wild boar and pulled tea. The roasted wild boar is highly recommended! The two of us shared a portion and were left wanting more. Overall, the value for money is extremely high, and I highly recommend it!

A delightful little place to visit, it’s well-kept and plenty of photo opp although photography is not allowed inside (it’s okay). The souvenir shop is nice too.

Although I'm not sure why other guests were no-shows, my partner and I ended up having a car and a boat all to ourselves. Upon arrival, we first went to the meeting point to eat. After our meal, we set off for the pier to go whitewater rafting in an inflatable boat. I had already informed the coach that I couldn't swim, so I was very scared at first. However, by the middle of the trip, I found it very exciting and safe. The coach was truly amazing, and he was also witty and humorous. Even though he had an accent, communication was absolutely seamless. Additionally, there was a photographer at several stops who took pictures for us. The package included lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. While the food wasn't incredibly delicious or lavish, it was certainly satisfying. Our guide also took us to a deserted island and took some incredibly beautiful photos of us; it was absolutely stunning. Finally, the guide worked hard to attract fireflies, and we had a magical evening, though it was difficult to capture the fireflies with a phone camera. Seeing them with our own eyes was wonderful, and it was a truly fulfilling day.

Well organised. My family enjoyed the whole experience. Basic clean facilities. Lunch was nice at the end of the acivity.

Overall the rafting and cultural village tour was a great experience. The water level was a bit low but it was still fun and suitable for beginners. Our guide Jeff gave detailed explanations and is very helpful. Got to try different food and snacks from the native culture. Highly recommend

This is a beautiful, tranquil, and relaxing resort that blends seamlessly with nature. The private beach, stretching for several kilometers, is stunning and impeccably clean. Walking along the beach is very peaceful, and despite its size, the presence of lifeguards ensures safety. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the buffet is delicious!
