had a beautiful and amazing day visiting Yufuin, Beppu, Kinrin Lake, and Dazaifu! was the only English-speaking guest on the tour, while most of the other guests were part of the Chinese-speaking group. But thanks to our wonderful tour guide, Nana, I never felt left out or like I was on my own. Nana-san translated everything for me in English, took my phone number just in case I got or lost, made sure I had a comfy seat, and constantly checked that I was okay. She was so warm, funny, and genuinely thoughtful. She even reco a great place for ice cream at Honeybees! It honestly felt like I had my own little travel buddy for the day My fave part of the trip was Kinrin Lake. I was honestly amazed by how beautiful it was Beppu was also incredible. we couldn’t go on the Beppu Ropeway because of the weather, Dazaifu was under construction during my visit. Yufuin was probably the least enjoyable part for me because it felt quite touristy and crowded ended up having such a wonderful time.

I think this one-day tour was fantastic. Not to mention how great the buy-one-get-one-free deal was, and they even gave us souvenirs at the end. But I think the most important thing was not having to worry about transportation. Also, I found the tour guide to be very professional; his English was excellent. We had foreign tourists on our tour, and the guide could instantly switch from Chinese to English, and his English was very pleasant to listen to. The only regret was that the flowing noodles area was closed due to an earthquake or something, so we didn't get to try them, which was a bit of a pity. Some group members also went boating and were late due to time constraints, but the guide still waited for them.

This tour was really good if you love animals and want to see them up close. I enjoyed the guide Zhu Zhu was so sweet and even she spoke little English she was so great and made sure I was able to follow along with rest of the group. She was so delightful and kindhearted, helped me order all the foods form all the shops and stores and offered me her umbrella and even the sweet apples. I highly recommend this route you get to see lots in one day!

The view is panoramic 😍. Take the mini train, it's quite fun. On your way back, remember to pay attention to a small volcano; it looks like a pudding 🍮. Ning Ning has been such a sweet and passionate tour guide. We really love her ❤️; she's the one who made the journey great.

Takachiho Gorge is truly beautiful; the scenery in person is even more impressive than in photos, and the surrounding natural environment is very pleasant. Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine, on the other hand, has a completely different atmosphere. It's very quiet and mysterious when you walk in, and it's also great for taking pictures. Arranging visits to these spots solely by public transport can be quite troublesome, so joining a day tour saved a lot of time researching transportation and making transfers. The overall trip experience was excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyushu for the first time and wanting to go to Takachiho!

We were very lucky with the great weather. Our tour leader, Ms. Liu Zhihong (Cico), emailed us the day before since we were boarding at the second stop, Kumamoto Castle, and confirmed she would help us secure front-row seats. Today, the two guides handled four languages—English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean—and provided very thorough explanations and introductions. Furthermore, even though we independently purchased tickets for the Aso Boy! train back from Aso to Kumamoto, Guide Liu was very attentive. During her free time, she first took us to confirm the train schedule before leading the rest of the group back. It truly was a wonderful trip, and we will definitely join again next time.

We had a great time visiting so many spots! The driver was very punctual and polite. Although we didn’t speak the same language, we could still communicate with Google translate. It was nice to have a private car and not go with a big group.

This was the best choice for our Yufuin trip. Our guide, Jeon Gyu-young, gave our family the best time. If you're visiting Yufuin on a self-guided tour, I highly recommend you try this without hesitation.
