Klook offers the best prices. To experience the scenery of the Northern Kyushu region, I recommend taking the JR. I bought a three-day JR pass and visited Kokura, Mojiko, and Kumamoto. I recommend visiting Kokura Castle; although it's a reconstructed castle, it offers many interactive experiences for visitors. You can also try on kimonos for free and take photos, and even try horseback archery – it's well worth a visit. If you get off at Kokura, you must try the chicken udon noodles at the platform of Kitakyushu Station, which has a long history; it's very affordable and delicious 😋. Mojiko is a beautiful harbor with a strong European flair, where you can explore various historical buildings and take great photos. Curry is a famous local dish there. Kumamoto Castle, one of Japan's three most famous castles, has several hundred years of history and is a restored castle with great historical value. The castle's main color is black, and its appearance resembles a samurai, giving it a very imposing presence. I suggest taking the tram to Kumamoto Castle to experience the local way of life.
