I had planned to see the Devil's Washboard in Aoshima from Miyazaki, but the low tide schedule didn't align. So, I first came to Michinoeki Phoenix, spent two hours enjoying the panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, then went to Aoshima to see the shrine and the Devil's Washboard. Afterwards, I returned to Michinoeki Phoenix and Horikiri Pass, once again admiring the Pacific Ocean. The weather cleared up for a while, which was wonderful.

I used it well when I took a bus from Miyazaki to Miyakonojo and continued my city tour. 1) It was well used for places like Kanbashira Park, Nishi-Miyakonojo Station, Shimazu Residence, and Haizu Park. 2) Buses are quite frequent in the main areas of Miyakonojo city, but in the outskirts, buses are infrequent, which was very inconvenient.

I took a bus from Miyakonojo to Miyazaki, then immediately went through Aoshima to Horidoke Pass to view the Pacific Ocean. The weather was cloudy, but the view was still worth seeing and enjoyable. However, there aren't many bus services, so you need to manage your time well. I visited the Aoshima Botanical Garden to pass the time.

QR codes are no longer used. After sliding to use the button, a timer will start, so you must open the app for the driver to see it every time. It's very convenient to use. However, you need to pay attention to the network quality. I don't know why various apps were inexplicably uninstalled during this trip to Kyushu and needed to be reinstalled. Today, I only discovered that the Klook app needed to be reinstalled just before getting off the bus. I almost couldn't finish installing it before arriving at the station, and the signal in the mountainous area was not very good, which was quite a scare. Electronic tickets are very convenient and environmentally friendly, but be sure to check and ensure a smooth internet connection. If there's a next time, I might still choose physical tickets 😂
