This was one of the best trips I have booked in Japan, not just because of the beautiful scenery but because of how well everything was planned and explained in advance by our tour guide, Steve. He shared helpful information for each spot beforehand, making the experience relaxed and enjoyable. I was impressed by his fluency in Japanese, English, and Chinese. Steve was friendly, polite, and kind. He made everyone feel comfortable, took great photos for me, and never left us alone, which made the trip feel safe and personal. The views were breathtaking, even on a cold, windy day, and the staff were hygienic. The Happy Pancake place was a highlight, and Steve’s tips helped us get the best seating. He even ensured I had hot water for my noodles at lunch. Spotting a whirlpool on a windy day felt special. The Awa Odori dance was elegant and fun, with live music that made it impossible not to dance—I even won an award. I highly recommend this trip in spring or fall for a relaxed yet stunning day. 10/10.

Tour guide Xiao Liu is very experienced. The Naruto whirlpools have different tides every day. The original plan was to take a boat at 11:30 AM (it was impossible to see the whirlpools at noon that day because it was slack tide). He and the driver大哥 changed the itinerary to have lunch first, then watch the Awa Odori dance, and then take a boat to see the Naruto whirlpools. As expected, we saw the whirlpools during mid-tide, which was very shocking 😀. If you were to go to these attractions from Osaka by yourself, it would be very time-consuming to take public transportation. Klook's itinerary arrangement was very smooth. On that day, 9 people took a small bus, and the space was very comfortable. We arrived at Shiawase no Pancake at 9:30 AM, but there were a lot of people at the pancake shop that day, and we had to queue for a long time before we could enter the pancake shop to eat peach 🍑 pancakes. It was truly incredibly blissful to eat pancakes while looking at the sea view ☺️. I hope more time can be added at Shiawase no Pancake, and lunch can be an hour. The product store for lunch had many local delicacies and souvenirs, and there was also a restaurant selling sashimi donburi, which was cheap and delicious. Sweet potato-related foods were a big highlight 😀. The Awa Odori performance was also very interesting and worth seeing 😃. Regarding expenses, a portion of pancakes on this trip was 1900 yen (limited peach flavor with ice cream) + lunch rice ball with grilled chicken 750 yen + Awa Odori 800 yen + Naruto whirlpool sightseeing boat 1600 yen. This is for your reference ~ Recommended for friends who like natural scenery 😀

I've used Klook many times, and this time, I most want to recommend our tour guide, Xiao Liu. He's witty, humorous, responsible, and enthusiastic! Even less exciting itineraries become richer because of the guide! The pancake scenery in Awaji was truly beautiful, the Naruto whirlpools were unique, and the Awa Odori dance was delightful! Our group of 6 happily danced together on stage, which was especially meaningful! Xiao Liu's group deserves another gold award! This itinerary skips the usual temples and scenic spots! Friends who love the sea should give it a try!

The tour guide was excellent, the scenery was beautiful, and the happy pancakes were both delicious and visually appealing. There were many whirlpools in Naruto, making it easy to capture videos and photos. The Awa Odori performance is also worth seeing.

Our tour guide, Gary, was incredibly patient, meticulous, and provided excellent service. We had a fulfilling day and finally arrived at Shikoku Island, where the cultural experience was fantastic.

The pancakes were delicious, the Awa Dance was beautiful to watch, and Director Yang's introduction was spot on. After completing the entire itinerary, I feel that adding one more stop on Awaji Island would make the trip even more complete.

Pro: Guide will check on Whirlpool timing and adjust accordingly. Happy pancake is really a very picturesque place. Cons: no confirmation given as stated in voucher. only recieved it after chatting with klook, they sent a whatsapp confirmation. We could not find the place and whatsapp the given number. meeting was 8am. they replied at 930 and said that's the office operating hours. -,-.. When we found the place, guide said 3 of us has chosen English speaking but they placed us in the Chinese group and said they will be speaking chinese becausethe majoritychose chinese.. there was 4 other groups.We asked to go other eng group then Guide said he will do both languages and explain to the rest later.. As the Whirlpool timing was changed to 3ish, they said after happy pancakes will be the dance hall. but after happy pancakes, we were brought to the food court area for another hour plus. there will not be another meal break till we are back in namba at night. Guide laughed and said we were going to eat again and doubt we can eat since we already ate at happy pancakes. not funny especially if travelling with kids. Whirlpool is a natural phenomenon. didn't really manage to catch it but cant be helped. all in all, not really worth the price paid. mainly coz of placement of language group and matching the meal timing together in the morning.

It was a rare opportunity to join this tour group. It felt like a one-day trip to Shikoku, passing through Kobe, then to Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, and finally entering Shikoku via Naruto Bridge. I felt very excited, and even though I didn't see the whirlpools, it was still worth the visit.

Director Liu is very humorous; his wit always adds a lighthearted element to every explanation, making the atmosphere in the entire vehicle lively and pleasant. Whenever he speaks, he always elicits bursts of laughter, whether it's a clever joke or a vivid story, everyone can't help but laugh out loud. He is also very familiar with various local snacks; with his recommendations, everyone can eat with confidence, completely without worrying about choosing something bad. Every bite of snack carries his careful selection and recommendation, allowing us to taste the most authentic delicacies.

A very worthwhile place to visit, with beautiful and distinctive attractions.
