Was a educational tour learning more about Hindu and Buddhist philosophies, a little overloading at times but still enjoyed the overall experience. The sites themselved were very quiet so literally had the whole place to myself which was great! Truly an underrated experience!!

Trowulan must be a history buff's delight. For me, without any prior knowledge of Majapahit history, it was quite fascinating to listen to our guide Pak Argus' labyrinth tale of kings and queens, princes and palace intrigues; the arrival of Mongols, its wars, the legends of Hinduism and Buddhism, the spread of Islam and the subsequent migration of the Hindu-Javanese elites to Bali, agrarian migrations to Bromo. It was a delightful educational tour. Highly recommended tour for an understanding of ancient Java.

It was a great experience with the guide Agus. He was professional and enthusiastic about local history. His explanations and methods were very helpful in understanding these historical attractions. We highly recommend him!

Our tour guide and driver were both excellent. The explanations were very detailed, and they were able to answer any questions we had thoroughly. They even took us to an additional spot we mentioned, making the whole experience very worthwhile, except for the ordinary meals.

Like a time tunnel back to history class with a perfectly crafted real-life time experience.

A must-see for history enthusiasts! A truly captivating experience! The interactive exhibits made learning about the history engaging. The building has been beautifully restored and preserved. The museum provides excellent context about the empire's history, culture, and its connections to other kingdoms. Our guide, Nita, was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about coxulen history. They shared fascinating details and answered all our questions with passion. My smiley driver Bapak Andre is very nice. Definitely worth a visit for anyone interested.

This was a cultural and historical tour. Our English guide, Agus, was the perfect guide. He was passionate about his subject matter and loved to answer our questions. It was a great outdoor tour. Quite hot but it was worth it. We were in awe of the temples and the archaeological site. The quality of work was amazing. Some parts were already restored or repaired but most of the parts that were intact after centuries is a gift to modern. You can imagine how these places were bustling with people centuries ago and how they were covered and forgotten until they were rediscovered. Agus did play a good part in bringing them to life for us. He took us to lunch in a local fast food. We ate using our hands as is the tradition. Food had good flavors, soothing to a hungry tummy. Agus and the driver brought us back to the hotel - tired but safe and happy again.
