Alisa was an amazing guide. She is a great guide for solo travelers. I didn’t have to mess with my tripod to get photos, because she was more than willing to take as many as I wanted. She also responded quickly to emails. I do wish there were more kimono options at the shop though.

I am so grateful for this experience - my tour guide Alisa was very patient, supportive and answered all my questions during the tour. I was running late so it’s my fault if I missed any of the benefits but Alisa was very kind and helped me throughout the whole kimono dressing process when I didn’t know what to choose or wear and led me to all the cool photo spots and took my photos. As a big plus-sized girl I felt comfortable the whole time and really enjoyed the experience. I totally recommend you do it if you really want to wear a kimono in Japan!

Alisa was so lovely, and there are a lot of options to choose from for kimonos. She also showed how to do the fortune at Sensō-ji temple and how to pray inside.

The experience of wearing the kimono was a good one. The guide, Alisa, recommended all the nice spots for taking photos and helped to take nice pictures, making the experience unforgettable.

I was thrilled to wear a kimono, something I never imagined I'd have the chance to do. I thought there would be limited choices, but there were about 20 options! I picked a vibrant one. Asakusa was still bustling, making tripod use impossible. However, Alisa captured fantastic photos with my smartphone, even cleaning my lenses with a lens cleaner! She also taught me about temple etiquette, and I learned so much from her. I highly recommend this experience!

Alisa was absolutely amazing! She picked us up from the station and walked us to a kimono rental shop nearby, where she helped translate and explain the process! They had PLENTY of plus size options. I'm a size AUS 20-22 and they gave me about 20 options to choose from, which was amazing. Unfortunately, my shoe size was a bit too big. And while I was told it was okay to wear my boots, Alisa took us to a nearby shop to help me get something that matched a bit more! She then took us all around, taking wonderful photos of us! At one point she even pulled out her phone showing us other options asking us where we would like to go! After about 2 hours, she asked if we wanted to keep going or if we were tired. While we were tired, it meant a lot that she was willing to take more photos! She was absolutely wonderful and we would definitely take this tour again in the future. ❤️
