Ai Kimono is very popular on Klook, with stores 1, 2, and 3. I'm not sure why most people choose store 3; we went to store 1. The manager is a Chinese auntie, and because there's a constant stream of customers, she tends to be a bit rushed, which can make her seem a bit cold. However, there are many younger female staff members who are very friendly and can speak English, Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Malay. The Japanese ladies who help customers change clothes are also very kind. The staff will help communicate customer needs to the Japanese ladies. After looking at reviews for several stores, regardless of the star rating, the descriptions are quite consistent. Basically, if customers are friendly and cooperative with the store, the store's response will also be equally friendly and satisfying. I was initially worried about differences in service quality between branches, but it turns out there's no issue. It's true that the space is small and there are many people, so it's best to arrive as early as possible to have more choices in kimono styles and patterns. In summary, there are many kimono rental shops in Asakusa, and the competition is fierce, so it's good to compare. However, it's also true that booking in advance is usually cheaper than on-site.

The mothers are working as staff. They are so kind! Please communicate in Chinese, English, or Japanese. As long as you follow the voucher, there will be no problems! Asakusa is always crowded, so you'll have to queue wherever you go! We queued a little for Tendon Tempura Tentou in the middle and ate there! It was delicious and the staff were kind! Finding the way to Aiwa Fukku is easy! They dress you carefully and beautifully! Since it's a rare experience, a flashy design is also a very good choice!!

After getting off at the station, it's a short walk to the shop, which is very easy to find as it's on the corner and very close to the temple. If you walk to the back of the shop, there's a spot to take photos with the Tokyo Skytree and the Asahi building by the river. All the staff were excellent, both when choosing the kimono color and with the dressing and hair styling. The service was truly excellent. I highly recommend this shop; if I go again, I will definitely choose this shop.

Redemption was easy! We arrived on time and chose the kimono we wanted. They also helped recommend kimonos that suited us! Excellent service!

If you want to have a special experience and take beautiful photos, you must try this! I was half-hearted when searching and booking various places on Klook, but seeing the photos, I am very satisfied. I loved how kind they were and how they paid attention to every single strand of hair. There were many clothes in good condition, so I happily chose one. The weather was very hot, but because it was a yukata, I think I was able to walk around much cooler. Most importantly, the rental time is until 4:30 PM, so you can book an early slot and enjoy it to your heart's content. I highly recommend it!!!

When I arrived for my 9:30 reservation, there were already quite a few people shopping in the store. There was a Chinese-speaking staff member to assist, and after I picked out the clothes I liked, a staff member led me to the changing room. However, when getting dressed and styling my hair, it might have been a Japanese-speaking staff member, so I had to use gestures (unless there happened to be a Chinese-speaking staff member nearby to translate). It was a little inconvenient, but still okay. Because there were many women, I had to wait a bit for my turn, which also took more time. Overall, it was still good, thank you to the staff! Since the weather was a bit cold, I also rented a small shawl for 550 yen.

The whole family changed into kimonos. It took the professional teacher and auntie about half an hour just to dress my two daughters in kimonos. I was truly impressed by the intricate details of the layers. Coupled with the hair styling, I felt moved and grateful for the delicate Japanese service. After they were done, I honestly couldn't find my elementary school-aged daughters (they looked so beautiful among all the young ladies that I couldn't recognize them, haha). The whole family wore kimonos all day to Senso-ji Temple, shopping and eating, and felt cool and comfortable. Even the wooden clogs were easy to wear. It was truly wonderful! ^^
