If you want to have a special experience and take beautiful photos, you must try this! I was half-hearted when searching and booking various places on Klook, but seeing the photos, I am very satisfied. I loved how kind they were and how they paid attention to every single strand of hair. There were many clothes in good condition, so I happily chose one. The weather was very hot, but because it was a yukata, I think I was able to walk around much cooler. Most importantly, the rental time is until 4:30 PM, so you can book an early slot and enjoy it to your heart's content. I highly recommend it!!!

The whole family changed into kimonos. It took the professional teacher and auntie about half an hour just to dress my two daughters in kimonos. I was truly impressed by the intricate details of the layers. Coupled with the hair styling, I felt moved and grateful for the delicate Japanese service. After they were done, I honestly couldn't find my elementary school-aged daughters (they looked so beautiful among all the young ladies that I couldn't recognize them, haha). The whole family wore kimonos all day to Senso-ji Temple, shopping and eating, and felt cool and comfortable. Even the wooden clogs were easy to wear. It was truly wonderful! ^^

After getting off at the station, it's a short walk to the shop, which is very easy to find as it's on the corner and very close to the temple. If you walk to the back of the shop, there's a spot to take photos with the Tokyo Skytree and the Asahi building by the river. All the staff were excellent, both when choosing the kimono color and with the dressing and hair styling. The service was truly excellent. I highly recommend this shop; if I go again, I will definitely choose this shop.

The mothers are working as staff. They are so kind! Please communicate in Chinese, English, or Japanese. As long as you follow the voucher, there will be no problems! Asakusa is always crowded, so you'll have to queue wherever you go! We queued a little for Tendon Tempura Tentou in the middle and ate there! It was delicious and the staff were kind! Finding the way to Aiwa Fukku is easy! They dress you carefully and beautifully! Since it's a rare experience, a flashy design is also a very good choice!!

Redemption was easy! We arrived on time and chose the kimono we wanted. They also helped recommend kimonos that suited us! Excellent service!

These ladies were amazing, especially the reception staff. I had booked on the wrong day and unfortunately my booking had expired. The receptionist called her manager and asked if they could squeeze me in, which they did. The ladies were so very kind and easy-going with me. They were so respectful and patient, and while dressing me, they asked if I was okay. They explained the different types of kimonos as best as they could, as there were two options. I was so happy with the service, and they really made my day by fitting me in. I highly recommend this rental place. Thank you, ladies!!!

When I arrived for my 9:30 reservation, there were already quite a few people shopping in the store. There was a Chinese-speaking staff member to assist, and after I picked out the clothes I liked, a staff member led me to the changing room. However, when getting dressed and styling my hair, it might have been a Japanese-speaking staff member, so I had to use gestures (unless there happened to be a Chinese-speaking staff member nearby to translate). It was a little inconvenient, but still okay. Because there were many women, I had to wait a bit for my turn, which also took more time. Overall, it was still good, thank you to the staff! Since the weather was a bit cold, I also rented a small shawl for 550 yen.

I accidentally booked the photoshoot only package when I needed 5 kimono rentals and 60 min photoshoot family session. The receptionist was very helpful in correcting my error. The ladies were excellent at what they do. They were attentive, careful, and sweet ladies. The girls hairdos and kimonos were so cute. I loved my hair up in a beautiful bun with side bangs. The photographer was very knowledgeable and helpful. He posed us, gave great directions and instructions, and made us feel very comfortable in front of the lens. We laughed quite a bit.

I was initially reluctant, but I never expected the kimono to be incredibly comfortable (a testament to Japanese craftsmanship). It was even cool to wear in the summer. Especially, the artisan auntie helped me, a grown man, put on four or five layers that were super tight but still comfortable, which is a world apart from just casually throwing on a yukata at a hot spring. Wearing it all day to stroll and eat around Senso-ji Temple was a wonderful experience!

Extremely close to the station! Most of the reception staff speak Chinese, which is very convenient! It's fine even if you don't speak Japanese. The only downside is that the shop is a bit small, and it was a holiday when I went, so there were a lot of people! Sumida Park is right next door, so after visiting Senso-ji Temple, you can go there to take photos, and you can even get a shot of the Tokyo Skytree! Afterwards, they even give you a postcard with a photo taken before you leave, which is incredibly thoughtful ❤️
