Bilhete para o Forte Santiago em Intramuros, Manila

This is the second place I visited after Baluarte de San Diego. The voucher exchange process was quick and easy; I just showed the voucher to the officer near the ticket sales. Fort Santiago is a historic fortress in Intramuros, Manila, Philippines, built by the Spanish in 1571, and has witnessed various important events in Philippine history, especially those related to the struggle for independence. This fort is famous as the last prison for the Philippine national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, before his execution in 1896.

It was a spontaneous evening when I decided to go in to make my MNL trip worthwhile. No regrets, it was so peaceful, no crowds, only me and the local cats having a fun tour. The kitties accompanied me everywhere I go, and of course I felt honored. I saw the area where they put cardboard boxes, drinking water fountain, & food bowls! I hope these are well maintained as well, so much compassion for our beloved felines. Anyway, I love the vibe of the place, I felt safe even on the less lit areas where I traverse at. I value history even if I don’t know much or may have forgotten some knowledge from school days. It’s always a love-hate relationship between what happened before and now. So much things has changed but this place remains the same like how it should be. Also, kudos to the people who worked extra mile to make the place clean, safe, &, more importantly preserved the structures and buildings that’s been a great evidence of the past. It’s better to purchase the tickets on Klook to avoid the long queue. I was able to enter right away and my kids had fun. You’ll just have to bring water, towel and extra tshirt because it’s so hot while walking inside the Fort Santiago. It’s highy recommended and educational as well.

Sayang at sarado ang mga piitan noong naroon kami. Mas magiging sulit sana ang tiket. Gayunpaman, sulit pa rin ang pagbisita dahil sa makasaysayang halaga nito. Huwag palampasin ang museo na nakatuon kay Rizal sa loob.

Fort Santiago sa gabi ay isang "must-do," lalo na tuwing tag-init. Iba ang pakiramdam ng lugar at ang katahimikan ng gabi na may mga ilaw ay nagbibigay ng kakaibang karanasan. Mas marami ring oras ang mga manggagawa para sagutin ang iyong mga tanong.

Intramuros Pass on erinomainen tapa tutustua Manilan historiallisen muurien ympäröimän kaupungin rikkaaseen historiaan ja kauneuteen. Se tarjoaa helpon pääsyn useisiin vierailun arvoisiin kohteisiin, mikä tekee vierailusta vaivatonta. Hyvin säilyneet maamerkit, informatiiviset näyttelyt ja kauniit paikat tarjoavat täydellisen sekoituksen historiaa ja kulttuuria. Olitpa sitten ensikertalainen tai historian ystävä, passi on ehdottomasti hintansa väärtikirkkaampaan Intramurosin arvostukseen.

El lugar era muy bonito, ¡lleno de monumentos históricos! Había mucha gente y hacía un día muy caluroso, ¡pero aún así vale la pena! Disfrutamos del paisaje, especialmente de la mazmorra, me dio escalofríos. Solo espero que haya más bancos para descansar. Lo recomendaría a otros, es un 10/10.

Klook üzerinden rezervasyon yapmak, Fort Santiago gezimizi süper kolaylaştırdı; bilet almak için sıraya girmemize gerek kalmadı, sadece girişte kuponu gösterdik ve doğrudan içeri girdik. Özellikle o gün oldukça kalabalık olduğu için bize gerçekten zaman ve zahmetten tasarruf ettirdi. Halloween döneminde ziyaret ettik ve tüm yer daha ürkütücü ve gizemli bir havaya bürünmüştü; loş ışıklar, eski taş duvarlar ve tarihi kalıntılar gerçekten zamanda geriye gitmiş gibi hissettirdi. Hem eğlenceli hem de en iyi şekilde ürkütücüydü!
