Casa de Chá com Vista para a Lua na Água - Jiufen

I visited Jiufen on a weekday afternoon. While it probably wasn't as crowded as on a holiday, it was still bustling with many tourists. I made a reservation at this teahouse about an hour before sunset and arrived almost on time. Stepping into the brick Western-style building, I felt as if I had entered a completely different world from the hustle and bustle of the main street, with the interior being so quiet. There were only a few groups of customers on the terrace, and we were also guided to a terrace seat with a great view. The kind staff brewed tea carefully right in front of us and explained everything in fluent Japanese. Drinking carefully brewed tea while watching the twilight gradually deepen, I was able to spend a truly peaceful time that soothed the fatigue of my journey. It was so comfortable that I ended up staying much longer than planned, but I believe it's a shop well worth the time.

Fantastisk oplevelse med taiwansk te-tid og en smuk udsigt. Personalet er så venligt og serviceorienteret, og de forklarer om tebrygning og servering på det helt rigtige tidspunkt.

This is a quiet place to rest in Jiufen, which is usually very crowded! Although the fog was thick and I couldn't see the scenery far away, it had its own charm! The staff who greeted us were very kind, and the tea was delicious. Although it's a bit pricey, I don't regret it because I could enjoy the scenery quietly and leisurely. I want to visit again next time. If you enjoy tea, you definitely won't regret it!

Best experience in my Taiwan trip!!! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The place is an overlooking view of another mountain (though when we went there, we had zero visibility due to fog, but it still made the ambience surreal). It is not crowded, so you will really have time to enjoy your tea and biscuits 🫖🍵 The place is clean, authentic-looking, and quiet. 💚💕 I don’t regret booking this! ♥️ Tip for getting there: Go up the stairs, and when you see Ghost Lore, turn right. It’s just a small alley leading to the tea house. It’s on the right side too ☺️

This has been the best tea that I have experienced in my entire life! Couple that with the breathtaking view, and you have this magical Taiwan experience! 10/10 will come back again!

Overall it was a great teahouse experience. We had a 1:30p tea tasting. It was an unrushed and peaceful experience. The view is unmatched. The teahouse is clean, spacious, and airy. The snacks were dried fruits of various kinds (banana, plums, guava, pineapple) and a tea biscuit with a tea flavored cheesecake. The sampling included two different types of high altitude Oolong tea.

This is an amazing tea house. The experience was very nice. The people working there were so friendly and helpful. The ambience is tranquil and peaceful.

Mis amigos y yo lo pasamos muy bien aquí. El personal fue muy acogedor y amable. ¡La comida estaba deliciosa y el té aún más! Queríamos reservar un lugar con una gran vista, pero nos sorprendió gratamente todo lo demás. ¡Definitivamente regresaré!

Definitiv einen Besuch wert. Der Tee war für uns zwei mehr als ausreichend und das Personal war sehr nett, obwohl wir viel zu früh zu unserem Termin kamen. Die Lage ist wunderschön. Man hat eine gute Aussicht und kann dort einen Hauch von Frieden erhaschen. Eine schöne Erfahrung 🙋🏻
