Casa de Chá com Vista para a Lua na Água - Jiufen

I visited Jiufen on a weekday afternoon. While it probably wasn't as crowded as on a holiday, it was still bustling with many tourists. I made a reservation at this teahouse about an hour before sunset and arrived almost on time. Stepping into the brick Western-style building, I felt as if I had entered a completely different world from the hustle and bustle of the main street, with the interior being so quiet. There were only a few groups of customers on the terrace, and we were also guided to a terrace seat with a great view. The kind staff brewed tea carefully right in front of us and explained everything in fluent Japanese. Drinking carefully brewed tea while watching the twilight gradually deepen, I was able to spend a truly peaceful time that soothed the fatigue of my journey. It was so comfortable that I ended up staying much longer than planned, but I believe it's a shop well worth the time.

Artist Teahouse in Jiufen was such a lovely stop. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, with beautiful views and a relaxing vibe that made the experience feel special. The tea and snacks were enjoyable, and the staff were warm and welcoming. It is a wonderful place to slow down, take in the scenery, and enjoy Jiufen’s unique charm. Highly recommended!

This is a quiet place to rest in Jiufen, which is usually very crowded! Although the fog was thick and I couldn't see the scenery far away, it had its own charm! The staff who greeted us were very kind, and the tea was delicious. Although it's a bit pricey, I don't regret it because I could enjoy the scenery quietly and leisurely. I want to visit again next time. If you enjoy tea, you definitely won't regret it!

This has been the best tea that I have experienced in my entire life! Couple that with the breathtaking view, and you have this magical Taiwan experience! 10/10 will come back again!

Best experience in my Taiwan trip!!! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The place is an overlooking view of another mountain (though when we went there, we had zero visibility due to fog, but it still made the ambience surreal). It is not crowded, so you will really have time to enjoy your tea and biscuits 🫖🍵 The place is clean, authentic-looking, and quiet. 💚💕 I don’t regret booking this! ♥️ Tip for getting there: Go up the stairs, and when you see Ghost Lore, turn right. It’s just a small alley leading to the tea house. It’s on the right side too ☺️

Definitiv einen Besuch wert. Der Tee war für uns zwei mehr als ausreichend und das Personal war sehr nett, obwohl wir viel zu früh zu unserem Termin kamen. Die Lage ist wunderschön. Man hat eine gute Aussicht und kann dort einen Hauch von Frieden erhaschen. Eine schöne Erfahrung 🙋🏻

The way there is complicated! If you go down a bit further from the Jiufen photo spot zone, you'll find a square-like area with a horror experience and a shopping street. From there, turn immediately left into the alley! Explanations are available in Japanese, Chinese, and English. The atmosphere was great, and the scenery was beautiful. The tea also tasted wonderful! It's a good place to go with your parents.
