Amazing Experience! The women are so lovely, warm, kind, and patient. All the proceeds go directly to a charity organization helping local when and children. You will have the opportunity to make your own glass bread in a pattern of your choosing under the careful instruction of a teacher and translator (app assisted) if you do not speak Chinese. Then you will be able to weave your own souvenir. I highly recommend and it all goes towards a great cause!

The instructors at Xin Workshop are very friendly and meticulously guide and assist with every step. They help when burning the glass, so you can feel very safe using the equipment. The glass bead bracelet is a characteristic craft of the local indigenous people, and the workshop also displays various finished products. This immersive activity experience was excellent. If you are traveling to Hualien, you can include it in your itinerary.

花蓮希望花園基金會的女士們非常友善，也很體諒我不懂中文，她們努力透過翻譯應用程式與我溝通，這讓我非常感激。她們帶我了解安全程序、融化和塑形玻璃珠，然後根據太魯閣族的傳統技術將它們串成手環。我感到備受關懷，儘管有語言障礙，我還是玩得很開心。這是一次非常值得的體驗。

I was alone making beads and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome! They tried to speak English also and the beads and (I made a) keychain are included. So nice to see how the women in Hualien are making and selling products!

老師們都很親切，講解仔細且很有耐心的一對一指導，完成作品後很有成就感，不過作品包裝上可以更仔細，除了給塑膠夾鏈袋外，建議要給防撞泡泡紙，以免琉璃珠碰撞後碎掉

The instructor was kind and professional, providing detailed explanations before starting and patiently answering questions during demonstrations, which completely put beginners at ease about creating beautiful finished products.

It was a very special first experience making glass beads, but unfortunately, one of mine got stuck and I couldn't take it with me, which was a bit of a shame! When weaving the bracelet, I realized my crafting skills aren't the best 😀 but it was still a great experience! The teachers were all very patient.
