I managed to purchase the Tokyo Have Fun Pass on a 1-for-1 promotion, which offered great value. I downloaded the Travel Contents app and added the two e-passes with ease. The passes were used to redeem tickets for Small Worlds and Sumida Aquarium, along with a ¥2,000 voucher at Bic Camera and a ¥3,000 voucher at Shinjuku Nonotori. The entire process was smooth, and redemption was simple and convenient.
Have Fun in Tokyo Pass - thru Klook, 3 attractions but we just manage to attend 2 attracations, the Legoland pass if for weekdays only. 1. Small World opens at 9AM 2. VIP View Tour - Open Top Bus Bay Course - view of the "Rainbow Bridge" seen from the roofless bus. 3. Legoland - not able to get inside due to day restrictions.
Using the Tokyo Enjoy Pass, I visited Small Worlds, Nonotori (Shinjuku branch), and Bic Camera (Shinjuku East Exit). At Small Worlds, I saw the EVA exhibit and even happened upon a live performance by a Japanese idol group on the second floor, which was very lively. I probably wouldn't have actively tried Nonotori if it weren't for the Enjoy Pass, but the actual experience was quite good. The web address for Bic Camera Shinjuku East Exit might be incorrect; the one where you can redeem the pass (there are several BC stores in Shinjuku) is the one in the same building as Uniqlo (the larger one). The redemption counter has moved to the second basement floor (B2). Perhaps when it first became redeemable, the staff weren't aware yet, and I wasted a lot of time going to the wrong places.
We only used two attractions included in this pass. The Airport Limousine service from Narita Airport to our hotel, and a 70-minute tour bus ride around the city. The Limousine service was great! We would recommend it if you’re taking many suitcases. The tour bus experience was okay, because the bus window was covered/tinted and we were unable to get clear photos of the side; we could only take photos from the open top. We were unable to see the small world as it closed one hour before the hours posted on Google Maps.
This time, I used the pass to redeem three itineraries: The first was the Misakiguchi Tuna Tour (since I was using a Tokyo Metro one-day pass, I went to Shinagawa Station, paid the difference on the basement floor, and exchanged it for the Misakiguchi package ticket). On the way there, I stopped by Yokohama Chinatown, then walked south to Miura Kaigan for a tuna meal (show ticket B before ordering) and a stroll along the coastline, and then used ticket C at a pickle shop to get jam and pickles. The second was Nonotori Yakiniku, which was super delicious when freshly grilled; just show the QR code at checkout for the discount. The third was the Seibu Moomin Pass. After exchanging the ticket at the Seibu Ikebukuro Tourist Information Center, I could ride the Seibu Railway freely with the pass. I first went to Kawagoe, then to Iruma Outlet (a 200 yen bus fare is required to transfer to the outlet), and unfortunately, I didn't have time to go to Moomin Park in the end. I highly recommend this pass!
Used the pass on small world, joypolis and Misaki meguro! Worth the price! Just take note that when exchanging the tickets for Misaki meguro, show them the QR code instead, as we had some difficulty exchanging them because most of the staff did not know what it was! But luckily, we managed to get it exchanged! Overall, it was a good experience! Thanks Klook!
I chose Joypolis, Small World, and Moomin Valley. Joypolis was awesome, 5/5 if you like VR and arcade games. Small World is great if you like to see miniature figurines. You can also make your own figurine for about S$20. Moomin Valley is inspired by a Finnish town, has nice Instagrammable photo spots, and a good story (if you understand Japanese).
This pass is incredibly good value (bought 1-for-1 for adults, and brought children aged 3 and 5). You can choose 3 attractions. 1. Moomin Valley Park: Suitable for children, but you should bring a stroller as it's hilly with lots of ups and downs, requiring a fair bit of walking. It might not be suitable for the elderly. P.S. My kids loved the climbing playground and the ball pit inside the Moomin souvenir shop building. It was more fun than expected; we stayed from 11 AM until 6 PM. However, the shows at each spot were quite ordinary, leaning towards boring. 2. Eating Maguro at Misakiguchi: It felt like we were invited to eat for free! We used coupon B to get one menu item per person at each participating restaurant. With coupon C, we could choose free souvenirs from various shops. The downside is that it's a bit far to travel, but the Ootoro (fatty tuna) was incredibly fresh and inexpensive. In the afternoon, we could also stop by Yokohama. We traveled for free to these spots today! 3. Buying sweets to take home from Kobe Farbreton: We were in a hurry because it was our last day before our flight. For two people, it cost 6000 yen, so we got some nice souvenir sweets to take home. The pudding was incredibly delicious and melted in the mouth. No wonder it cost 1500 yen, while other sweets were only 200-400 yen. My husband and I even crammed a cup each at the airport because we didn't think we could take it on the plane. If we had been able to sit and savor it at the shop, it would have been even more delicious! P.S. The tea was very ordinary, tasteless, and expensive at 400 yen, if I remember correctly. P.S. The other sweets were also very delicious.
