Excursão de Meio Período ao Parque Nara de Quioto e Santuário Kasugataisha

We had an amazing day exploring Nara with our tour guide Hiromi. The bus was clean and comfortable for the drive from Kyoto. Hiromi gave an informative and engaging tour. She was open to all of our questions and was very friendly and helpful. The pace was just right for our large family (ages 5-71). We lucked out with great weather and light crowds. The lunch was traditional set meal with miso soup, Chicken donburi, sashimi, and tempura.

It's incredible how deer have adapted to live among humans. And the temple's size was amazing! Our guide Emiko was very knowledgeable and patient with us photographers who kept slowing the group's pace. You are the best Emiko!

It was a good trip. Our guide explained both the shrine and the temple in detail. We enjoyed feeding the deer.

Enjoyable tour. The guide was patient and spoke well. Small group of 6 people. Really nice van. Water was provided. Japanese lunch was reasonable.

Our guide Yoko was fantastic – very informative, funny, and kind, and she chatted with the kids along the way. We had our 6-year-old and 8-year-old with us, and Yoko was just lovely with them as well as with the whole group. It made the experience enjoyable and memorable for all of us. Highly recommended!

We had a great trip to Nara Park and got to see some fantastic things. Our guide Mana was really great and very welcoming. He had lots of interesting facts about the temples and it’s clear he is very passionate about it. He kept the itinerary on time, without making us feel rushed. We even had plenty of time to explore and feed the deer. The lunch was authentic and had a nice variety of small things to eat. Transportation to and from Nara Park was great and Mana provided facts throughout to keep everyone entertained. We were glad that we went early as it does get busier throughout the day. We would recommend this tour if you are looking to go to Nara Park from Kyoto.

Our guide, Mana, made our tour great. He was informative, understandable, funny, and charming. We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary - a temple, a shrine, and then the optional deer interaction. We learned quite a bit from Mana about the history of Japan, the area, and the shoguns. Side note: We recommend the tour wholeheartedly but also suggest you only watch other people feed the deer versus buying the crackers yourself. The deer can be aggressive and bite you up close.
