A very pleasant experience. The instructor was very kind and thoughtful. The course provided information about traditional Korean food culture. Highly recommended.
Teacher Esda's explanation was very meticulous and detailed. The homemade makgeolli experience was a lot of fun, and the vegetable pancake was delicious. 💯
The whole session is very pleasant, Esda is very welcoming and knowledgeable. She is patient in teaching us and very willing to answer all our questions! I would definitely recommend this to my friends!
We had a fun time with Esther! She was really lovely, helped us a lot, and gave us good advice on how to preserve and keep our makgeollis well as we are traveling back home. Will highly recommend!
Lovely class in a chill, cosy and clean setting. Got to learn about the process of making makgeoli and the anju. The facilitator was welcoming and mindful of our needs (e.g., accommodating to dietary requirements, sharing tips to get the makgeoli back home via plane safely, getting bubble wrap for the makegoli jars just in case). She even went out of the way to make her favourite side dish for us to try!
I loved the hands-on experience. Esther teaches and explains very well, allowing us to understand the process of making makgeolli. It was very enjoyable, and I will go home and make more using this knowledge.
learned a lot, we learned about how makgeoli is traditionally made, and how to choose ingredients! would recommend
very interesting workshop you will know more about this wine and have a nice experience cooking and eating a traditional meal
Great experience! She is really passionate about what she does and you can see it, she enjoys explaining the makgeolli creating process, is friendly. We had a very good time and we are excited to taste our own makgeolli ^^ the cooking class is super interesting as well, easy to recreate at home once you've learned it
I think it's a nice activity to do with friends or as a couple. There's someone translating everything into English if you don't speak Korean well. The beginning had a lot of explanations on "how" to make it, so it was a little too much for me, but my +1 loved it. We made some amazing veggie pancakes and tried very nice makgeolli (the best I've ever had).
