The host will do their best to assist you and provide a bag for your belongings. The shop is right next to the Sumida River, a nice location for a photoshoot overlooking the SKYTREE.

I've already experienced Asakusa Aiwafuku many times! The service is still as good as ever! This time, I had my uncontrollable son with me, who was throwing tantrums the whole way, but they patiently attended to us and even brought out toys to appease him. I will still choose Asakusa Aiwafuku next time!

On the day, our family of four booked the first yukata experience session (09:00). Although we got a little lost after exiting the subway station, causing us to arrive 7 minutes late (we recommend taking Exit 5 from Tokyo Metro Asakusa Station and walking straight for about three minutes), the staff still greeted us warmly. Our personal belongings were placed in bags, and most of the counter staff spoke Chinese, so communication was seamless. Yukata fitting for men and women was done in separate areas. The Japanese masters assisting with the yukata fitting were very professional, constantly asking for our feedback during the process, which made us feel very respected. For women, simple hair and makeup design was provided, and the children were also very happy to have this experience.

I booked a kimono rental experience for 4 people on Klook early in the morning. When we arrived, the staff informed us that there was a more favorable package available. So we switched to another package (2 adults, 1 child + 1 student). We are very grateful for the staff's thoughtful arrangement.

The location is easy to find, and the selection of kimonos is really good (for females). We were a family of 5 and all took kimonos (including a small baby), well worth the money spent for this experience. It gets really busy, so it's best to book an early slot for the best selection of kimonos. The staff were also really helpful and friendly; they speak English, Mandarin, and Japanese. Excellent staff.

I was very happy to book Asakusa Aiwafuku. As soon as I entered, I felt a great sense of security (the staff spoke Chinese, so I didn't have to struggle with translation, haha). Although the staff who helped with wearing and styling the kimonos spoke Japanese, they were very patient and explained what we needed to do next. Plus, I brought two little monsters (children under three), and their tolerance was very high, which I truly appreciated. The completeness and cleanliness of the clothes were very good. Although the children's kimonos were a bit different from what I imagined, which was a slight pity, I would be willing to go again if I have the chance to wear a kimono next time.

Our family had such a great time wearing kimonos and walking around Asakusa. Definitely an experience to be remembered!

This time, for my kimono experience in Japan, I chose "Ai Kimono." The overall service was very friendly, and it was convenient that the staff could communicate in Chinese. There were many kimono styles to choose from, and they were very meticulous from selection to dressing. After styling, the photos turned out beautiful! The entire experience was smooth, making it perfect for first-time kimono wearers, leaving me with wonderful memories of Japan.
