Excursão de 6 horas de Arrowtown Wanaka

I had an amazing time visiting Arrowtown and Wanaka. My experience was definitely extra special as the tour guide knew so much about the town and would mention random facts that you wouldn’t know (compared to self guided). Definitely was worth booking with this tour and highly recommend anyone to do so!

I am so glad that I booked this tour!! Totally worth it, very charming little towns, with plenty of local shops and delicious food! Our guide, Chris was fantastic — super knowledgeable and funny, with great stories and a smart sense of humor that made the day even more enjoyable.

Thank you for the great trip. Although it was a pity that it rained, we still visited all the places as planned. I really appreciate the driver and guide for being patient and considerate, especially since my English isn’t very good. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

We just finished the tour, though it is raining a bit here and there but we had a great time with a very experienced local guide Bill. He is knowledgeable and humorous. He knows the best spot for all the photos. He even show us the huge eels that lives in Lake Wanaka and how to capture the best photo of Tree Wanaka. Love his positive attitude in life. Without the rain, we won't be able to capture the rainbow overlooking the valley. Thank you so much "Bill".

We had a great time on this group tour. Wayne was very helpful throughout the journey and kept telling us facts and stories about all the places we visited. The vehicle provided was very comfortable for the journey, and we felt it was a very good service.

For travelers not staying at the hotel, this is more efficient than taking Orbus and Intercity on your own. It's a small group of no more than 11 people, the vehicle is new, and it's punctual at every stop. Along the mountain road, there's a stop at Cadrona Hotel, which includes a soft drink or beer. You'll still have half a day to plan activities back in Queenstown. In Wanaka, besides spending 20 minutes looking at the tree, you can also spend an hour having lunch, walking along the lake, or exploring the town. However, there won't be enough time to visit the museum in Arrowtown.

The tour was well paced. There was sufficient time for the stops. We could have spent a bit more time in Wanaka and less time in Arrowtown, but that's a personal preference.

I had a great time with this short trip. We will be picked up around 9.50 am so ensure to be in the meeting point before on time. We went to Cardona Hotel, Lake Wanaka (incl Wanaka Tree), Arrowtown and some photostops along the way. Overall I had a blast. Thank you !

Murray (I think that was our driver and tour guide's name) was lovely! For a solo traveller, it was a great experience! I definitely recommend it to those who would like a quick tour around Wanaka to Arrowtown. 😊

It was a short trip, and the guide stopped at many points: to admire the views, to taste ginger beer, to visit Bardrona to see the bras hung on the fence for breast cancer awareness, Lake Wanaka, and Arrowtown. During our visit, Arrowtown was just beginning to be covered in snow, which made it look incredibly beautiful.
