Starbucks Taiwan

Today, I went to Kaohsiung i-Ride to experience the 5D immersive flying theater, which offered a truly thrilling and immersive experience. It felt even more intense than being on an actual airplane, providing an exciting and astonishing sensory journey, as if I were genuinely flying in the sky! The realistic flight simulation engaged my senses of hearing, sight, smell, touch, and physical sensation, creating an incredibly lifelike feeling of soaring through the air. It was truly realistic. The novelty of the experience exceeded my expectations. The sensation of the seats diving and rising, mimicking flight, was even more thrilling and immersive than a roller coaster or a drop tower. Following the changes in the video content, I could instantly feel myself flying through valleys, soaring over mountaintops to see a sea of clouds, and then watching the screen rapidly plunge from the sky into the ocean. The entire seat suddenly dived downwards, accompanied by splashes on the screen and even water mist sprayed from above my head. I genuinely felt like I was about to fall into the sea, but I was flying so happily. That scene was incredibly realistic. With waves crashing around me, I experienced new and genuine sensations of falling, vibration, and wind. It felt like I was truly flying in the air, very exciting, with 360-degree immersion. Words cannot fully describe it; you absolutely must try it. This time, I watched "Flying Over America" and "Flying Over Africa," and the experience was truly fantastic, as if I were actually flying over America and Africa. You definitely need to come and experience it; it's suitable for both adults and children. (The entire process, including explanations, takes about 20 minutes. Currently, it's only available in Taipei and Kaohsiung across Taiwan.)

The location of this Starbucks is great. It is just right out of the a MRT station looking across the park. Purchasing of the drink from Klook was easy and my redemption for efficient and I can redeem right after my purchase.

It is very easy and smooth to make an online voucher purchase. After your purchase, you can just show the received QR code in your email to the Starbucks cashier. However, you have to pay by cash, which is the disadvantage point. I always use this Klook service. I really can save up some money. Cheers ;)

Although I've recovered today and spent the whole day writing my thesis, my body still feels very tense and a bit achy. I left the co-working space at 7 PM, had dinner nearby, and then remembered a massage place I had looked up before was just a block away. I went to check it out, and they said they could fit me in 10 minutes, so I agreed. Before leaving, I had actually checked Google Maps again for nearby massage parlors. This particular place had great reviews and an interesting storefront. After closing for two months due to the pandemic, the owner started selling coffee and drinks, and later added desserts, making it look more like a trendy cafe! The massage prices were a little higher than nearby places; here it was NT$1100 for an hour, while some nearby offered 70 minutes for NT$1000, but their facilities weren't as good. In the end, I decided to try this place. The staff asked if I wanted a drink while I waited, saying it was included in the fee. I was a bit worried I might have misheard due to my poor Mandarin – could it really be such a good deal? I looked at the menu and saw red/white wine. I asked if both were available. The staff said yes. I mentioned I couldn't drink that much, just a little bit. Then, the staff opened a new bottle of red wine and poured me half a glass. Oh my goodness!

I claimed my Starbucks voucher at the Ximending branch, which is very beautiful and large with a second floor. It was amazing using the Klook voucher, very convenient. Thank you so much! I can't wait to use Klook on my other travels soon.

When I was almost finished, a well-mannered young woman came to lead me upstairs to the second floor. At first, the massage was a bit light, and I thought it wasn't strong enough, but it gradually intensified, and it also depended on the body part; head massages were much lighter. Later, I fell asleep and even snored, which was really embarrassing...
