To fully enjoy it, here are some tips: your Didi or taxi may not be able to stop right at the entrance—get dropped off at St. Regis lobby across the street and walk over. Although entry time suggests arriving 30 minutes early, many guests show up much earlier to get better positions. Start your evening at the bar with a non-alcoholic drink (best to avoid alcohol—you’ll be standing and walking for 3+ hours). No phones allowed inside. Read up on the story if you want, or just follow one character for an hour at a time to see their arc unfold.

You can arrive 30 minutes early and get in quickly enough without waiting. I've seen Sleep No More in Korea about twice, and since I was planning a trip to Shanghai, I was curious about the Shanghai version and booked it. First, the space was so different from the Korean version that it felt like watching a completely different performance. Shanghai's McKinnon Hotel has lower ceilings and is much more labyrinthine. It was much darker than the Korean McKittrick and had hidden stories, making it feel completely different even though I had seen the performance in Korea. Put your belongings in the lockers at the front before entering, and there are signature drinks you can order at the bar, so be sure to check them out! It was a sufficient and happy experience, and I plan to book with Klook again next time!

Apparently, the drama is a combination of "Butterfly Dream" (Madame Butterfly), Macbeth, and Rebecca. I would recommend looking into these three in depth before coming to see the drama, as it would be more understandable and engaging this way. The residents were great. Although it's a bit expensive, wow, I would definitely come again next time I'm in town.

I always thought I bought tickets for the first round at 7 PM, but it turns out Klook only sells tickets for the second round at 7:20 PM and the last round. 😆 It's a pity, otherwise, I highly recommend entering from the first round at 7 PM. That way, you can play three rounds in total. The later you enter, the fewer rounds you get to play. Nevertheless, it was still a great experience. 👍🏻

第二次刷不眠之夜了，赶着它收官之前。由于是二刷，这次就随缘跟有眼缘的角色了。这次很好运得看到了“三巫献祭”，还在第二轮长桌之后误打误撞跟到了国王，被他拉进房间1ｖ1了～太幸运啦！本来想跟男巫的，因为男巫身材实在太好了。在“三巫献祭”那边一秒一闪的视觉冲击下，真的很有性张力。哦对了，光头女巫也好有魅力，仿佛她真的会巫术，我的眼神无法从她身上离开。

The performance has no dialogue, so people of all nationalities can watch and understand it through the characters' facial expressions, gestures, and emotions. Although it was a performance I had been looking forward to, I was not feeling well on the day of the reservation, so I agonized over whether to go or not. However, I decided I didn't want to have any regrets, so I visited the venue, and it was an excellent choice. I thought I had diligently explored for three hours without a moment's rest, but what I saw was just the tip of the iceberg. It's shocking. I want to see it at least ten more times in the future. I went with such high expectations that Sleep No More was the most important event of my day. I deliberately applied for Package A and, fearing I'd be late, waited an hour beforehand to be the first one in. They said there would be a lot of walking, and indeed, with the audience rushing around, you really do move a lot. Since it's coming to Korea soon, I definitely want to experience how different it will be from the Shanghai version.
