We really really enjoyed this! It was easy to contact them via WeChat to book our timeslot. We booked the package with clothing, makeup, and hair, plus we added on professional photography. We loved the variety of options, and the makeup/hair artists are very efficient. The photographer takes so many pictures, and you get 3 for free. We ended up paying for 3 more. The dinner itself is super worth it; it was like an 8-course banquet dinner with crab, fish, etc. The dinner lasted about 2 hours with many performances. My 3-year-old daughter loved the whole experience! We recommend arriving early (we arrived around 4:30 PM for the 4:45 PM makeup slot; it's first come, first served), which gave us plenty of time to take photos before dinner at 6:50 PM. Highly recommend!

First time experiencing Hanfu! The lavish meal and show were absolutely satisfying! We arrived an hour and a half before the show started, but there was quite a wait for makeup. If you have time, I recommend arriving early. I made the reservation via WeChat. I sent a message considering the time difference, but the reply was slow. However, it was great to enjoy the meal from the very front row 🫶🏻. The outfits were pre-coordinated, and although they weren't quite what I imagined when I tried them on, I couldn't change them. There were also accessories like fans and capes, but they were first-come, first-served, so be aware! I showed an image for makeup, but they declined, so I left it up to them! All the staff members were very kind!

I was worried about the seats, but the standard seats offered a perfectly clear view! Even though I didn't understand the language, I enjoyed the dancing and performances. All the food was delicious and served hot. Even with standard seats, we received something like candied strawberries, but it turned out to be tomatoes and muscat grapes. The variety of costumes was less than I expected, and even after researching beforehand and having an image in mind, I couldn't find a costume with the same vibe, which was a bit frustrating. Makeup and hair were included, but I had read reviews saying the makeup was light, so I went with full makeup, and they added rhinestones to my face. The staff seemed very rushed, so I think it's smoother if you do your own makeup beforehand. For hair, they quickly attached decorations that matched the costume, so they didn't ask for my opinion. You really have to pluck up the courage to speak up, but generally, they don't understand Japanese or English, so a translation app is essential. The final look was a little different from what I had imagined, but there were photo spots, and I could take many pictures while eating, so I was satisfied. I recommend taking photos leisurely indoors. I saw people experiencing Hanfu outdoors in places like Yu Garden, and they looked very cold.

It was a lovely experience with the Hanfu custom, makeup, and photography with my family. We had a great time; the food tasted good, and the customer service was excellent. Appointments need to be booked through WeChat, and please note that slots are only available two weeks in advance. We were fortunate to book and sit together as there are five of us.

What a feast! The venue is so beautiful, staffs are so patient and helpful. They did the amazing jobs to helping us choosing costumes, dresses up and makeup. Food and performances were spectacular, we cannot give any negative feedbacks about it. 10/10 definitely want to go again when we’re back in Shanghai.

I had a great experience. Although the story was performed in Chinese, you could still understand it through the actors' gestures. I also requested a vegetarian dish (I think the cook thought vegetarian meant vegan, so there was no egg—it was mostly stir-fried veggies). Although the vegan food was so-so, I really enjoyed the performance.

The experience was fantastic! The location is a bit far from the metro station, it took around 15 minutes to walk (and it was raining that day, but luckily we found the place!). Once we entered, we were immediately greeted by staff wearing beautiful dynasty clothes. After checking in at the counter, we were taken to select our desired traditional clothes, and the staff helped us change ❤️. Then, they started to put makeup on us~ They were super fast and professional during the makeup session! The makeup was applied seamlessly and looked natural~ We took a lot of pictures 😆~ Regarding the dinner session, there were around 10 dishes plus some appetizers, but the food portions were a bit small; some tasted nice and some I found to be normal. For seat selection, honestly, I think all the seats are good enough to enjoy the show, but if you want a closer look, I would suggest the seats next to the middle stage. In conclusion, it was definitely worth a try!
