Excursão de Trekking Compartilhada de Um Dia no Parque Nacional Taman Negara

This was an exceptional tour and the highlight of my visit to Malaysia! I chose a "join in" package and the driver was cooperative and nice, and the tour guide was absolutely amazing and well-informed about the natives and nature which made the tour so much more fun! Do not forget to bring spare clothes because you'll be soaking wet after the rapid boat ride down the river and there are no clothes shops around! Oh, and make sure you brought water with you, the hike is not easy, but not difficult 😉 enjoy the scenes 💗💗💗

What a wonderful day! We started early to get to the park. We did make some gas station/convenience store stops, so if that's not your preference, then bring your own breakfast or eat beforehand. The drive was quite beautiful, but sadly, tons and tons of the forest have been replaced by palm oil plantations again – not their fault, but just to inform people that the beautiful 'forests' you see on the drive are actually palm oil. We arrived around 10:30 AM and were transferred by truck to the boat. The short small boat ride took us to the start of the hike to the canopy walk. The walk was all stairs, but still very humid in the jungle, so pack accordingly. We got to the canopy maybe around 12 PM, and then we needed to wait to do the walk. It was the weekend, and it took nearly 3 hours. I think it would be better to hike the mountain first, then go to the canopy walk before it closes. Or have a tour that just skips it because it does make the rest of the day run behind. The canopy walk was indeed cool, but waiting 3 hours for 20 minutes could be better spent hiking in the jungle. After the canopy hike, we walked up the mountain to the viewpoint. Mostly stairs, some trails. The view was quite nice, even with haze. Back down to the boat to have lunch at the floating restaurant. The one we went to had really, really good food! Afterward, we changed into swimsuits to get back on the bus to go to the aboriginal village, who are the first people of Southeast Asia. We typically stay away from these types of places as they often feel like 'people zoos,' but this didn't feel like that. They were just going about their day-to-day lives. We learned how to hunt and make fire. After all our stuff went into a garbage bag, we did a rapid boat ride. It was super fun, and you get soaked. Back on the truck to change and get on the bus. We made it back to KL by 11 PM door-to-door. The tour was from 4:40 AM (we went to the meeting point) to 12 AM. It was a great time, and the guides were very nice and knowledgeable.

A really great tour. The ride is about 3.5-4 hours from KLCC. First, there's jungle trekking for about an hour (1.7km) to a hill with the greatest views, then the canopy walk. After that, you'll travel by boat to one of the floating restaurants (great food!!). After the lunch break, you'll visit an aboriginal village where the inhabitants will show you how to make fire and teach you to hunt with arrows. And the best part is the last point: the boat ride/rapid shooting where everyone gets completely wet. And I mean really soaking wet 😀😂 We were back at KL (KLCC area) by 8 PM.

We really enjoyed the experience. During the trekking part, we didn't see many animals because there were a lot of people, but the excursion overall was highly recommended and the guides were fantastic.

The driver arrived at the hotel on time, and the tour guide was humorous and provided interesting introductions. We learned a lot about local species and culture. Entering the rainforest was a very special experience; most participants were Europeans and Americans, with almost no Asians joining this activity. My group members also looked out for each other, ensuring everyone kept up with the team. The only pity was that the suspension bridge was under maintenance! Since there will be rafting, it is definitely recommended to bring a change of clothes!

Have a good trip, a beautiful place recommended for nature lovers. They delivered on what they promised.

What a great day we had except for the transfer. To get the negatives out of the way the driver was a bit crazy in his driving and the van was too hot on the way back. However at Taman Negara we had a great time. We firstly were taken for a tour of the rain Forrest itself and while going around our tour guide told us some useful and interesting information. On the way back down we did the canopy walk which if you’re scared of heights like me Is hard ar times but so worth it! We then went for lunch at floating barge restaurant which was lovely. In the afternoon we visited a Batek tribe and learned about their way of life including how to make fire and fire a blow dart which was really cool. I loved going there and experiencing that. Finally was the most fun part of the day which was the rapid shooting, it was so funny and we loved it! Though 2 days after I did have a weird swaying feeling from my body which is supposed to be natural. I would highly recommend going here.

If you like hiking, this itinerary is worth considering! However, the travel time is quite long... It takes four hours to get from Kuala Lumpur city center to the destination 🥹 The tour guide was very nice and hiked with us ~ but the mountain scenery wasn't exceptionally beautiful... In the afternoon, we visited a local indigenous village, which was a pretty good experience! We also took a boat ride around the entire lake ~ but we didn't get back to the hotel until 10 PM this time 😢 I personally think it was really late... I hope the next trip can be better managed!

Wonderful experience with small group of 7 people. Starting from trek, then lunch, Tribal Village visit, bamboo arrow shooting and rapid boating. Really fun and guide was great (Mushroom 🍄). Loved the energy. Go for it; just bring spare clothes to change after rapid boating
