Xuyan Immersive Dining Show em Kuala Lumpur

We had a really nice time at the Xuyan Immersive Dining Show with my friend. The seating arrangement was a little different from what we had originally expected, and most of the performance seemed to take place towards the front rather than in the middle. There also seemed to be quite a few empty seats, but this didn’t take away too much from the experience. The food was good overall, although one of the dishes was missing. The show itself was enjoyable, and wearing the traditional costume made the experience even more fun and memorable. Overall, it was a lovely experience and something different that I’d definitely recommend trying with friends.

Overall, it's still pretty good. Makeup and hair styling are additional costs, and prices vary for front and back seats, as well as between weekdays and weekends. I was very satisfied with the makeup, styling, and clothing experience. The photography skills and posing guidance were decent, but the price is a bit high. Half an hour of shooting plus 5 retouched photos cost over RM300, and each original photo costs an additional RM100 – yes, each one. I don't understand why they charge for original photos; it's not like I'm asking for every photo to be retouched, but don't you have a package that includes original photos? For half a day, the total cost for 2 people was over RM1300, so their target audience must be high-income individuals. When I got home, I saw some people on Google had very bad experiences, but fortunately, I didn't encounter any of those issues. Location: 8/10 – It's right opposite Starling Mall parking, which is good, otherwise traffic would be terrible. Make-up & Styling & Clothing: 9/10 – The most satisfying part. Food: 7/10 – Not bad, but ordinary. Ambience: 9/10 – The interior atmosphere is very good, thoughtfully decorated, and details are well-presented. The exterior is also great for photos. Service: 8/10 – Waiters, stylists, and photographers were all okay. Performance: 8/10 – One dish, one dance, one costume. The same people performed continuously, showing great effort. Price: 7/10 – A bit expensive, one experience is enough.

I had very low expectations of the food as I thought the whole experience is a bit gimmicky but I love the food! The dancing is amazing, the food is very yummy and the costumes were so much fun. I would love to do it again

Performance and service were great, however the food is average and the stage and restaurant setup are much lower standard than the Xuyan in China. Overall still nice to try and enjoy the show.

The performers were absolutely amazing — their cultural dances were captivating, well-coordinated, and beautifully showcased traditional artistry. You can really feel the effort and heritage behind each performance. The food was also quite enjoyable, offering an upper-average spread of Chinese and local cuisine. It complemented the show nicely and made the whole experience more immersive. One of the highlights was the opportunity to rent and wear Tang Dynasty costumes. The outfits were stunning and added a unique, interactive touch to the visit — definitely something worth trying for the full experience. The only disappointing oversight. I had already filled in the form for birthday arrangement, but it was not prepared on the day. It was a bit awkward seeing other guests receive their special birthday treatment while mine was missed. Overall, still a great cultural experience beautiful performances & atmosphere, just hope can improve attention to special requests in the future.

It was a wonderful experience, enjoying various distinctive dishes while watching performances. Every dish was unique and delicious, and in the end, we were even invited on stage to dance 😄

First of all, the quality of the food and performance is excellent! All the dishes were delicious, especially the fish galbitang that came out first, which was the best. And the final dessert was also incredibly tasty. However, I don't recommend the makeup. Don't expect the influencer-style makeup you see on Instagram. Since there's only one makeup artist, they have to do makeup for everyone who requests it, so it seems like they rush through it, moving quickly to the next person. But they are indeed very fast; the makeup finishes quickly. Still, the makeup itself isn't great. After getting my makeup done, I felt it was a bit ambiguous, so I gave a tip and asked for more shading and blush, but I still don't recommend it. The hair, however, is highly recommended because there are many elaborate accessories. Make sure to ask them to secure the accessories well in the front. The heavier accessories kept sliding back as I watched the performance, so I couldn't even take them off, and my neck hurt and I was bothered throughout the show. You can add photography as an option, and we chose the lowest-priced option among them, which allows for two retouched photos. After taking all the photos and the performance ended, I checked the pictures and, to my surprise, I really liked all of them. The photographer seems very skilled. I had so many favorite photos that I wanted to purchase additional ones, but they said each additional retouched photo costs 160 ringgit, which is ridiculous considering our purchased option (2 retouched photos) was 158 ringgit. Is this price correct? I originally intended to buy 3 additional photos, which would be 480, and they offered to reduce it to 450, but 450 ringgit for 3 additional photos is just too much. I gave up on additional photos and just stuck with the original two. If you're considering adding a photo option, I recommend choosing the highest-tier photo option from the start. The most expensive photo option includes four retouched photos for around three hundred something ringgit, and it's worth it because the photographer is truly excellent. Also, apart from the photographer, the staff aren't very friendly; their expressions aren't welcoming. Nevertheless, the performance and food were so good that it's a restaurant worth experiencing at least once. I highly recommend it! I want to come again next time I travel to Malaysia.

This is our first time visiting this restaurant. The performance was quite professional and very enjoyable. The food was quite ordinary. I found the price to be quite expensive.

The food presentation was great, with a taste of China, but it was normal. The quality of the food was average. The show was great and historical.
