Today, I came for a trail class and found that tickets can be purchased on Klook. You can buy and use them immediately, which is very convenient. It's even more cost-effective for adults. Weekend tickets are NT$100, but only NT$80 on Klook! The scenery at Manyueyuan is beautiful, and the air is fresh. Today, the ground was slightly damp, and the air was cool, making it perfect weather for a leisurely stroll ♥️. It's worth a visit to fully appreciate the lush greenery 🌲 and a touch of autumn 🍁. Take a deep breath of phytoncides; it's a wonderful place 🌲. I'll definitely come again 🙌

The Manyueyuan National Forest Recreation Area is located upstream of the Dabaoxi River in Sanxia, featuring a natural broadleaf forest at mid-to-low altitudes. The facilities within the park are integrated with nature, minimizing human impact, and the barrier-free access is complete, making it suitable for visitors of all ages. The main trail offers views of waterfalls, forest bathing, butterfly watching, and maple viewing, making it a very popular forest recreation area in northern Taiwan. The new visitor center was completed in 2019, adding interactive AR facilities. Enjoy further discounts when purchasing tickets through Klook – highly recommended.

A great place to escape the city and get close to nature. The trail is very flat and easy to walk, and although there's a bit of a challenge towards the end, you can still complete it successfully if you persevere. There's shade all the way, and educational knowledge stations introduce the ecological features along the route, such as the 'Big Tree Apartment' and 'Waterfall Energy Field'. The Ecology Hall, Stream Hall, and Butterfly Hall are also worth spending some time visiting. The Klook e-ticket is very convenient; you can just scan the barcode and don't need to queue to buy tickets. Plus, the weekend ticket price is slightly cheaper than buying on-site, so it's highly recommended.

A great place to get close to nature, suitable for family trips. The first section of the hiking trail is relatively flat and easy to walk. The trail to the Virgin Waterfall, although only 500 meters long, is steep with many stairs, making it a bit challenging. The Stream Hall and Butterfly Hall at the Visitor Center offer a lot of ecological knowledge, while the Forest Hall mainly provides DIY activities. Parking is free. The third parking lot is closer to the toll station, but the first parking lot allows you to walk along the Ruazi River Ecological Trail to the toll station, which is also a good option.

It's easy to buy tickets, parking is convenient, and the restrooms are very clean. Even if you can't walk all the way to the waterfall, at least visit the first visitor center. The introductions in the different halls there are excellent. Also, stop in the middle of the bridge leading to Virgin Falls and enjoy the natural breeze; it's very comfortable. This is a great place to bring your family for a visit.

Since I'm not a New Taipei City resident, I always use Klook to buy e-tickets when I come here. On weekends, e-tickets are 20 NTD cheaper than buying on-site. Recently, there's also been a stamp collection event for forest recreation areas across Taiwan. A stamp book costs 499 NTD and can be purchased inside the park. Those interested can give it a try 😉
