Scan the QR code for instant access! Overlook the ultimate cityscape of Shanghai from the clouds. A must-buy time-saving ticket for your trip to Shanghai! Travel Type: Solo/Independent Travel 💬 Experience Review and Recommended Advantages: Booking the Shanghai Tower “Top of Shanghai” Observatory ticket on Klook was a very smooth experience! As the tallest building in China and Asia (third tallest in the world), the view from the 118th floor (546 meters above sea level) did not disappoint at all. It offers a panoramic view of both banks of the Huangpu River and the Lujiazui skyscraper cluster, providing an incredibly stunning visual impact. 📱 Klook Booking is Extremely Convenient: There were quite a few people buying tickets on-site, but after purchasing tickets in advance on Klook, I could quickly verify my entry by simply showing the e-voucher and ID, saving a lot of time queuing to buy tickets! 🚀 Super High-Speed Elevator Thrill: Taking the super high-speed elevator, which travels at 20.5 meters per second, it only takes about 55 seconds to reach the 118th floor directly. The real-time data display inside the elevator is very futuristic, and the ascent is remarkably smooth. 🖼️ 360-Degree Panoramic View with No Blind Spots: The panoramic glass curtain wall offers an excellent view. The once towering Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Jin Mao Tower are now all beneath your feet, making it perfect for taking photos and checking in. 💡 Practical Tips for Travelers and Visiting Guide: Recommended Entry Time: Strongly recommend entering 1.5 hours before sunset! This way, you can enjoy the “clear daytime panorama,” “sunset glow,” and the “million-dollar night view as the city lights up,” offering the best value for money. Entry and Security Check: The observatory operates on a real-name system, so remember to bring your ID or passport. On-site security checks are quite strict (flammable items and some camera tripods are prohibited), so it’s advisable to allow 20-30 minutes for security. Tips for High-Altitude Photography: At night, indoor glass can be reflective. It’s recommended to press your phone or camera lens as close to the glass as possible when shooting, and the picture will be very clear! Overall Rating: Much more convenient than queuing for tickets on-site. The price is reasonable, and entry with the voucher is smooth. Whether it’s your first time in Shanghai or you want to admire the ultimate skyline of the city, booking in advance on Klook is highly recommended!
Excellent experience with this view from the 119th floor of the Shanghai Tower: how small the houses are! You can feel the pressure going up and down in the elevator! The view of the Bund is magnificent when everything lights up.
Truly recommended, I went there when there was Chinese holiday and the queue was killing me but as soon as I was on top of the building, it all pays off. You can go to 125/126th Fl after queuing some more at the 118th Fl, IMO not much different but you can brag to ppl 😂. A must when you are in Shanghai, it's much better to come here than Shimao Building or Oriental Pearl tower, apart from the obvious reason that currently this is the tallest building in China, the glass wall is straight so it won't ruin your experience in taking nice pictures or just simply to gaze at the Huangpu river and Lujiazui CBD.
I always love the view from the top. From here, you can see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Shanghai World Financial Center, and the Jin Mao Tower. You also have the option to go to higher floors (I believe the 125th floor); I only went to the 118th floor. It's better to go at midday so the sky is clear, or if you prefer, you can also go at night to see the city lights.
highly recommended. one of the world tallest building with breathtaking view. definitely worth the trip. Will recommend everyone to purchase this via klook. redemption is seamless and easy. there is also the light show that is a must-visit.
It's very convenient, just show the QR code and you can go up to see the Shanghai view. It's beautiful both day and night. If I have a chance, I'd like to go see the sunset. When I went, it was raining and cloudy, which was a shame, but it was still beautiful.
The view from the top is beautiful. The elevator is very fast, and in no time, you reach the 118th floor. You can walk around the building in a circular path to enjoy views from various angles. Sunset is particularly stunning. At night, the buildings below light up beautifully.
