Experiência de Aula de Culinária em Bali Oriental

This is a hidden gem of an experience! It's definitely worth the longer journey out to East Bali for this cooking class. Such a great value since the price covered transportation as well. The car ride takes you through a few local towns/villages where you can see plenty of rice fields. You can get an authentic view of how local Balinese live. The cooking class itself is located in a beautiful complex overlooking a scenic cliff (Melangit Bali Adventure). It's a spacious outdoor venue with clean toilets. There's also an infinity pool open for use (bring your swimwear)! They also offer kayaking in the river nearby. By attending this cooking class vs. others, you're supporting the local community in this less travelled part of Bali.

Comenzamos nuestro día visitando un mercado húmedo local para comprar ingredientes y preparar nuestro propio almuerzo. Además de recorrer lugares hermosos, este tipo de experiencia es lo que busco cuando viajamos. Matur Suksma, Melangit Adventure y Bakas Cooking Class. ¡Especialmente al amable equipo de Tude y su esposa, Sri, el Chef Nyoman y Putung (quien también capitaneó nuestra aventura en kayak).

I applied for the Baccarat Cooking Class without checking the location, as they offered pickup in Kuta, but it turned out to be quite far from Kuta. Aside from the distance, everything else was very satisfying, and I highly recommend it. It would be even better for those staying in Ubud or further north, as it would be closer. There were four of us – two Australians, my daughter, and myself – and we didn't just pretend to cook in a beautiful setting; we genuinely chopped ingredients, stir-fried, cooked rice, and baked everything. We made five dishes: namul, chicken curry, papaya soup, satay, and sweet potato rice. Before cooking, they bought us fruit at the traditional market, gave us appetizers, and packed up the leftover food, which we had for dinner. The food was incredibly delicious, and the staff were very kind. After eating, we went to play on a nearby swing. It was a great experience, and they even gave us the recipes, so I plan to try making the chicken curry later. My husband said that among all the dishes he ate in Bali this time, the namul I made was the most delicious :)

This cooking class was literally the highlight day of our Bali trip! There was nothing touristy about cooking outdoors in the open with an incredible scenic backdrop, utilising amazing local produce and learning from Neuman (a Balinese MasterChef!) and the rest of Gede's team! Highly recommend to anyone with an interest in cooking and learning traditional Balinese methods

Estoy muy feliz de haber encontrado la clase de cocina Bakas en Klook. El viaje incluyó traslados de ida y vuelta al hotel, una visita al mercado de Gianyar, un paseo por los campos de arroz y luego llegas al restaurante donde ocurre la magia. Vistas impresionantes mientras cortas frutas y verduras, cocinas satay a la parrilla y hueles especias aromáticas mientras revuelves. Luego, disfrutas de los sabores, un banquete absoluto. Una experiencia increíble de principio a fin. Gracias a Ketut, el chef, y a Gede, el guía. ¡Estoy tan lleno!

Dimulai dengan tur pasar pagi. Pasarnya berada di dalam gedung (bukan pasar terbuka tradisional) dan banyak kios tutup karena Ramadan atau COVID. Bagian yang paling menyenangkan adalah kelas memasak yang merupakan poin utamanya. Kami memasak 6 hidangan... sup pepaya muda, kari ayam, sate lilit ayam, 2 hidangan sayuran, dan hidangan penutup. Kami menyiapkan semuanya dari awal. Makanannya enak karena kami memasak di bawah pengawasan koki lokal. Memasak dengan pemandangan lembah tepat di depan Anda. Sangat menyenangkan, jangan lewatkan!

Since there were no other teams, my husband and I had a private session. I heard that the cooking class venue had recently opened. The experience of cooking while enjoying the clean and open view was unique and enjoyable. We even saw monkeys in between! Haha. At first, they explained Bali's main ingredients and kindly taught us how to prepare them, so even if you have no cooking experience, you'll be able to easily make delicious dishes.

We had an amazing time. Everything was handled smoothly with clear communication, and they accommodated our need to end earlier. I've done cooking classes in many countries, and this has been my favorite. We made so many dishes, all amazing!

my husband attended the cooking class he really loves the class , he learned traditional Balinese food and very convenient there is pick up and drop off included surely we recommend this but it's nicer if 2 of you will do the class .

highly recommended. great way to enjoy some of balinese culture. hosts were warm amd welcoming, cooking was a lot of fun and tasted great!
