Māo Lǎn - Restaurante com vista para Maokong

I came here because I thought the pyramid fried rice looked cool. But the pyramid fried rice itself, at $280, felt just average. However, all the other dishes were delicious. The free-range poached chicken for $480 was very fresh, sweet, tender, and not dry. The tea-infused moon shrimp cake for $290 was thick and crispy, very tasty. Matsusaka water celery for $250. Garlic cabbage for $180. Guanyin winter melon for $160. Milk foam osmanthus oolong for $180. Tieguanyin pearl milk tea for $230. Osmanthus oolong milk green tea for $230. We ordered four different teas, and they were all amazing; I loved every cup. The sweetness was just right, and the tea aroma was strong – very delicious~~~. Oriental Beauty Tea for $120. Maokong Tieguanyin for $120. The two cold brew teas above come in exquisite reusable bottles. Located next to the Maokong Gondola, the view from Maolan is excellent. I recommend sitting from afternoon until evening to enjoy both the sunset and night view. Come with family and friends to gather, drink tea, chat, and play board games. Coming in the cool early autumn weather was so comfortable. The service is great, and you need to book through Klook. It's very cost-effective, and I'd want to come again.

After visiting the zoo, we took the cable car up for dinner and unexpectedly discovered this fantastic restaurant. We bought tickets and used them directly (though advance reservations are usually required). Since there weren't many walk-in reservations that day, the staff, out of kindness and seeing that we had children, made an exception and allowed us to use our tickets on the spot so we wouldn't have wasted our trip. I highly recommend this restaurant! It's very family-friendly, and the staff are also very kind.👍 The food is like home-cooked meals, dishes that most people would enjoy, but the flavors were surprisingly amazing – not just casually stir-fried dishes. (I especially loved the sizzling plate dishes because of the cool evening breeze on the mountain; the hot food unexpectedly stayed warm!🤣) It's definitely worth coming up here to enjoy the scenery and have a meal. I've already made plans with my elders to bring them next time to experience this beautiful scenery and delicious food.👍 Of course, the ticket discounts are also a huge selling point; it's really super cost-effective!!

We didn't know we needed to make a reservation to dine, and there were no instructions about it, but the staff really made it possible for us. The view is very nice, and the food is superb! Thanks, Klook!

Maolan offers an excellent view. Coming for dinner in the evening, slowly watching the sky darken and the city light up, the food is delicious, and it's truly therapeutic. I will visit again.

The night view is highly recommended, with a wide-open vista of city lights and the 101 building standing tall in the distance. On a clear day, you can even see the Grand Hotel and Shin Kong Tower in the far distance. The food is also good; the Tieguanyin chicken soup has tender meat and a fresh broth...

樓上是貓懶，戶外空間了，可以直接飽攬風景，景色非常的棒，出菜速度也相當快速，味道也還不錯。樓下是四爺，室內有冷氣小包廂形式，也很不錯，菜單其實是一樣的，但分開計結帳，買卷的時候要留意。

餐點好吃~ 推薦 金字塔炒飯. 堅果宮保雞. 蜜茶排骨. 水果茶蝦球. 算有特色料理 比外面一般熱炒店做的還精緻~ 美味!

The food is delicious, though a little on the salty side. The drinks are quite good 🍺. It's a semi-outdoor space with no air conditioning, but the scenery is beautiful, offering views of Greater Taipei. The poached chicken is also tasty.
