It was a nice experience, the cruise staff were very nice and polite. However, if you are Indian, the food might upset you; they provide vegetarian food but without spices. I suggest you carry some of your own edibles with you. The hotel booked on Cat Ba Island was very nice, and they also provided vegetarian food on demand, as well as adding some spices at our request. Overall, it was a very nice experience. Highly recommended.

I think this 3-day, 2-night tour, which involved joining various groups, was incredibly good value for money. It included food and accommodation for less than 6,000 yuan. However, there were a few minor incidents. Before getting into a vehicle, you should always confirm if there are any additional charges, especially since it's a tour where you're constantly joining different cars and groups. You might be picked up by someone you've never met before. It's advisable to confirm whether the ride is included in the tour fare before getting in, especially if it's a private car.

This was a wonderful experience! we stayed one night on a boat in Ha Long Bay and second night in a hotel on Cat Ba island. Everything about this tour was great and we particularly appreciated the professionalism of the staff and guides who supported the entire experience. Our top favorite was visiting the National Park on Cat Ba island and we deeply appreciated meeting our park guide Mr Binh who was great. We highly recommend this tour!

The Chinese translation on the itinerary is really simplistic and makes it difficult to truly understand what activities are involved. The services provided by Klook are quite limited. In Hanoi, there are numerous travel agencies (seriously, an overwhelming number) offering one-day to three-day tour options. For those feeling adventurous, you can book tours locally, and the price will likely be about 20% cheaper (calculated from the quoted prices, I didn't inquire further). The entire tour will be subcontracted multiple times (about five times), and each time you'll be with completely different travelers on the same vehicle or boat. The boatman on the ferry (who doesn't speak English, so it's impossible to confirm if you're on the right boat) charged other passengers exorbitant boat fees but didn't charge me. I can't be sure if the other passengers didn't buy a package tour or if they were being ripped off. The itinerary only stated that we would stay in a three-star hotel on Cat Ba Island, but didn't specify which one. You can search for Sea Pearl Hotel; the hot water was terrible, lasting less than five minutes, and the kettle was also horrifying, I didn't dare to use it. It's likely that future activities won't be arranged with the same hotel. In short, combining previous reviews, it's indeed one of those very bad hotels. Due to the constant subcontracting, you'll feel lucky to return alive, even though you're unharmed and haven't been ripped off. To be fair, the scenery in Ha Long Bay is beautiful, the accommodation on the boat is acceptable, and the food is also acceptable. The itinerary is good. The guide, Tee, from the first day to noon on the second day, was very kind and reassuring. Cat Ba Island is very quiet and comfortable. I recommend that anyone reading this review choose the two-day tour; there's not much need to go to Cat Ba Island, and doing so might even allow you to avoid being subcontracted almost entirely, as the two-day tour is probably the mainstream choice, and non-mainstream options are more likely to be grouped and subcontracted. To be fair again, some international travelers have limited English proficiency, but they still receive correct guidance and return safely to Hanoi. I believe that even if you let yourself go, they will still take responsibility. Reminder: Almost all are international travelers; don't mistakenly think there will be other Taiwanese people in the same group.

I wasn't expecting such good vegetarian food, but it was truly amazing. The crew and staff were also very supportive.

I have a mixed review for the activity. The cruise and activities were fun and great, but the hotel stay on Cat Ba Island was old and had a musty smell. Hence the average score.
