I recently took the Ha Long Bay Phoenix Cruise (2 Days, 1 Night) and had a fantastic experience. If you’re looking for an affordable yet well-organized cruise to explore the breathtaking Ha Long Bay, this is a great choice! My favorite is doing kayaking in Sungsot cave, unforgettable!
This cruise is good and worth the money. All 4 meals included (lunch, dinner, breakfast, lunch) with generous portions. Food was delicious. Do note that all drinks are charged separately. All cave entries and activities (kayaking, swimming, squid fishing) are included. Guide Loong was knowledgeable and communicates well in English. The top deck of the cruise is great to chill in with nice beach chairs. The room is basic and the toilet has warm water for showers. Spotted one small cockroach upon checking out though, maybe cleanliness of housekeeping can be improved.
I loved every minute of the cruise and the activities. The crew prepared scrumptious meals and our room was tidy. Booking via Klook made our trip easy, convenient, and well coordinated. Our tour guide Mr Sea is very accommodating, super entertaining, highly enthusiastic and a fun guide to be with. This trip is highly recommended!
It was an amazing cruise. Our Tour Guide - Mr. Sea made our cruise even more memorable. He planned our trip very well as we avoided the crowd in Tip Top Beach and Sung Sot Cave. He also made sure that everyone was well taken cared of. Seeing both the sunset and sunrise in Halong Bay was a treasure however the most memorable part for me of the trip was the kayaking. I will definitely highly recommend this cruise/tour to my friends. Thank you again Mr. Sea and to the whole crew of Halong Phoenix Cruiser.
Overall, it was a fun experience. The boat looked a bit older, but it was decent for the price we paid. You do sacrifice some luxury. The food was alright, and drinks were chargeable. Activities were typical of Halong Bay: caves, hikes, beaches, squid fishing, and kayaking, all in beautiful scenery. The guides were amazing and caring, but communication could have hiccups, with things lost in translation, and English being their second language. We also had a small mishap with our luggage almost falling into the sea during the transfer. However, the guide was quick to take responsibility and apologize.
If weather is not an issue, this is a great tour on a cruise. A very good 9/10 experience! It is relatively cheap, hot water, cold air con, decent food and great sightseeing. Some things to note are: 1. there are only 3 bottles of water throughout so recommend, getting more water on your own before the trip if you are traveling 3 people or more. 2. The night activites are not very great so I mostly sleep early. But it doesn't ruin the overall experience as the day activites are packed and very exciting. 3. A double bed room has more leg space than 2 single bed rooms. (you have to request for it) 4. As mentioned, if weather is terrible, it will really ruin your overall experience, so pray for good weather.
Our guide Sea was amazing. The cruise was a little old. Cabin was simple but functional. Activities were not too bad. The meals were very nice and prepared by the crew. Home-cooked feel. Drinks are chargeable on board. Overall, a fun-filled 2-day, 1-night trip in HLB.
A great 2-day, 1-night trip with Phoenix Cruise in Ha Long Bay. Our tour guide, Mr. Sea, explained the historical attractions in the Old Quarter and French Street to us. He made our day and managed to take us to visit the Pearl coffee shop. The food was considerably nice but a bit unusual. The hiking activities to Surprise Cave and Ti Top Island were enjoyable, as were the kayaking activities.
Tuyệt vời cho chuyến đi gia đình! Rất thư giãn và có những khung cảnh tuyệt đẹp. Chúng tôi đã đi vào tháng 5 năm 2023 và trời khá nóng nên tốt hơn hết bạn nên chuẩn bị mũ, kem chống nắng và ô. Chúng tôi đã ghé thăm bãi biển, leo núi để ngắm Vịnh Hạ Long, ghé thăm Hang Sửng Sốt (đây là nơi tôi yêu thích nhất), chèo thuyền kayak và nhìn thấy một vài con khỉ và có những món ăn tuyệt vời trên du thuyền.
