The cold, crisp air adds to the refreshing atmosphere. The voucher also includes entrance to the Monkey Park, which is one of the nice and unique things to go to while you are there! A perfect day out for nature lovers and a must-do when the leaves turn!

You can buy tickets on your phone and use them the next day. From Shinjuku, you can enter the station by scanning the QR code on the Keio Line. It's best to check the schedule and take a direct train for convenience. This is a great place for hiking in the Tokyo suburbs. You can use the QR code to take the cable car or chairlift up and down the mountain as many times as you like, saving you time from queuing to buy tickets. Adults, children, seniors, and even pets come here to hike. On a clear day, you can see the beautiful mountains on the opposite side. It's worth a leisurely trip.

The trip was amazing! Just like others said, make sure to get your ticket the day before as the ticket counter is open 11-5pm. You'll want to go early the day of. go to Shinjuku station and look for Toei line. Look for ticket area number 8 right next to 7/11 off to the right hand counter. The day of the train ride is about an hour or so. Make sure to bring something to cool down with in the hotter months. Also get water before Asending. I climbed all the wayup, and did not take the cable car. I recommend climbing because you'll see amazing views of nature! The Monkey/grass park is small, but a fun detour and a nice way to relax. The shrine is amazing! The view at the top, even better. It took my breath away! At the Monkey park you can buy food to feed the monkeys :). It's only 100 yen!

It was rainy when we went to Mt Takao, we couldn't see much as it was very foggy while we hiked up to the shrine. However, thanks to the fog, the path was breathtaking in its own way as it gave off spiritual vibes. The chairlift was unfortunately under maintenance. We used the cable car instead. It was quite fun as it gets very steep at the top of the hill.

Mount Takao is beautiful. The hiking trails are great and offer various lengths and difficulties. The view is beautiful, and you can see Mount Fuji. We took some lovely photos along the trails. We want to go back and take the waterfall trail! The monkey exhibit wasn't great, though.
