The location is easy to find; just search for the store name "Vasara" and navigation will lead you there. Their process (arrival, removing shoes and getting a bag, choosing clothes, getting dressed, styling hair, selecting a handbag, putting on shoes or geta, and departure) is quite streamlined. You only need to book an appointment and choose your package in advance. Dressing and hair styling can be completed in about half an hour if there's no queue, but the important thing is that there are so many clothes to choose from that it might take you some time to decide. There are many staff members who provide services in both Chinese and English, making the whole experience very smooth. The value for money could be a bit better. You can return items before 5:30 PM, otherwise an additional fee will be charged.

Although only Japanese and English were available, the staff were incredibly meticulous and enthusiastic in helping us choose kimonos. After I expressed my preference for purple and lace, they diligently assisted me in selecting the perfect one. Paying extra for some makeup, hair, and accessories felt completely worth it! The hairstylist was also very sweet and kept complimenting me 🤣, which made me feel wonderful ❤️. I'm truly satisfied because the hairstyle was absolutely stunning ❤️. Finally, I recommend everyone book for 9 AM when they open. My daughter and I even had a private changing room. By 3 PM, when we returned the kimonos, it was already super crowded 😵‍💫, and everyone had to squeeze into one changing room 😵. Just for your reference ❤️

It was a great experience. There were many kimonos to choose from, and the staff were very helpful. Everything was wonderful, except for a bit of rain.

The workers were so kind and so talented! Seeing their artistry come to life was so fascinating to watch. They made the whole experience feel so welcoming and accessible, and we were really grateful for their thoughtfulness.

We had such a lovely time this morning wearing kimono! My girls absolutely loved the experience, their hair was beautifully styled and I don’t think I’ve ever seen them this happy with their hair. They felt so special and confident all day. The service was excellent from start to finish, with staff who were patient, friendly, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Such a memorable experience for our family, highly recommend!

Great! We rented the yakuta/kimono on the day of fireworks, instead of paying for next day return, they close at 10:00pm on firework days, so pay extra for that at the store and just return before 9:45pm to have time to change back into your clothing before closing, they keep your shoes, bags or any other clothing and belongings in store till you've returned as part of the service. Recommended! Efficient and kind! Super fast in and out, they speak some English, but not necessary for the experience!

Booked at their flagship store, it was pretty easy to find from the station. The staff were very helpful with each step. Even with the basic/quick package there were plenty of kimonos and obi belts to choose from. Would definitely come back to try the other packages.
