Yanto, nuestro guía, así como nuestros conductores Hendra y Dewa, ¡fueron fantásticos! Hablaban un inglés excelente y eran muy entusiastas, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera maravillosa. Yanto fue muy proactivo al ayudarnos a escalar Ijen, asistiéndonos en algunos terrenos más difíciles e incluso encontrando el fuego azul para nosotros cuando él mismo ni siquiera tenía una máscara de gas, ¡y nos compró plátano frito y tauhu isi con su propio dinero! Los conductores también fueron fantásticos, condujeron con seguridad, parando cuando necesitábamos un descanso para ir al baño o para almorzar, y no se fumaba en el coche en absoluto, lo cual fue una gran ventaja para mí. En general, una experiencia fantástica y no podríamos agradecer más a los lugareños.

Such an unforgettable adventure! We had “Yanto” the cute guy as our guide. He gave us mental/physical support and lots of caring during the hike. Safety first is his motto but don’t worry for missing anything cause Yanto will help you out to get the best photo and even some secret picture spots. The hike was tiring but definitely worth to do once in a lifetime. If we have another visit in Java we will nominate him again!😍 Also, as we have known the miners are still doing their jobs in the volcano area, if you see them please give way for them as they are carrying over 80 kilos sulfur. Their wages is extremely low as a labor work. There will be a bucket 🪣 at the artwork vender, if you are okay for the donation please help them out a little bit with empathy :)) Overall, we are glad that we chose this trip while visiting Indonesia.

We had an absolutely fantastic Mount Ijen experience thanks to our amazing guide and drivers! Huge thanks to Yanto, our guide, who went above and beyond, friendly, patient, and caring throughout. The climb was tough, but he made it easier with his constant support and positive energy. He guided us safely down to see the blue fire, checked on us often, and kept our spirits high with his cheerful chats. Whenever we needed help taking photos or videos, he was more than willing, capturing our best memories with a smile. We felt so lucky to have gotten Yanto as our guide. His kindness and dedication truly made our trip special. We also want to thank our drivers, Arimbawa and Tony, for their safe driving, punctuality, and warm hospitality. They made our journey smooth and comfortable from start to finish. I came to this trip alone, booking with Klook is very safe. They have the completed service from picking up at the hotel, go to ferry with you for the first time, and manage for finding the local guide. The guide and drivers are very experience and aware of your safety as priority. Worth to try and best service ever with the service-minded crews. The view is very beautiful and memorable.

Sin duda recomendamos la experiencia: Los conductores durante todo el trayecto fueron muy amables y transmitieron seguirdad sobre el asfalto en todo momento. En la subida al volcán Ijen tuvimos la suerte de hacerla con Yanto, el mejor guía que hemos tenido durante nuestra estancia. Pudimos ver el fuego azul gracias a los escondites que se conoce y a la hora de ver la salida del Sol y el lago nos llevó al mejor sitio. A parte, en todo momento estuvo atento de nosotros y fue muy divertido. La experiencia fue de 10 y la compañía de 11, sin duda la recomendamos y si tenéis la suerte de hacerla con Yanto mucho mejor.

¡Altamente recomendado! El monte Ijen fue inolvidable gracias al increíble equipo detrás de nuestra caminata. 🥇1º y favorito para siempre: Yanto, nuestro guía local. ¡Simplemente es el mejor! Es divertido, considerado y constantemente nos preguntaba: "¡Dime, ohkeeeey! ¡Dame un grrr!" 😂 Nos animó durante los descansos, celebró lo lejos que habíamos llegado y compartió historias sobre los mineros de azufre, los conductores de Lamborghini que trabajan con alegría a pesar de las duras condiciones. A las 4 AM, cuando pensamos que nos habíamos perdido la llama azul, Yanto se aseguró de que no fuera así. Tomó fotos y videos increíbles, incluso mientras luchaba por respirar y mantener los ojos abiertos entre los vapores de azufre. 🚗 2º: Lexza, quien nos recogió a tiempo de nuestra villa, nos permitió cenar en el drive-thru y nos llevó 4 horas hasta el puerto de Ketapang. Esperó hasta que nuestra caminata terminó al día siguiente y compartió sus historias de vida con nosotros, ¡tan cálida y divertida! 🚗 3º: Cahyo, quien nos llevó a Paltuding, nos ayudó con los boletos del ferry y se aseguró de que descansáramos bien después de la caminata.

beautiful hike and pretty manageable for not refulae hikers. blue fire was amazing and the view in the morning was beautiful. shoutout to our guide Supriyanto for being fun and engaging. Singing with me during the hike made it so much more fun!

We had an amazing experience on this tour today! First, our driver Dewa picked us up from a hotel and quickly and efficiently delivered us to the port, travelled on a ferry with us to make sure we were okay and to introduce us to our second driver - Cahyo. He was a great conversationalist and very fluent in English, so our trip to the volcano was filled with local stories and interesting tales. He also took us to the waterfalls on our way back, and showed everything personally. During the hike itself we were accompanied by a local guide - Aladi, who was extremely considerate, showed us all the best photo spots and also told us all about the history of the volcano itself. Big thanks to all of our drivers and our guide for making this once-in-a-life experience unforgettable!

Tiene un conocimiento increíble sobre el área de Ijen, su geología y la mejor manera de experimentar de forma segura las llamas azules. Unforgettable trip, everyone from driver to host were amazing and friendly. Nano was a great host and very respectful. Accommodations provided were nice and clean, locations were just breathtaking no words can define the experience.
