Such a great experience! Easy to book through Klook, hassle free to redeem the voucher. The facility is the same as the paintball so if you see that sign you are in the right place. Lots of parkings. Restrooms on the facility. A great experience trying all the different things from the indigenous people; bows, bamboo rice, bbq, how to set up traps, traditional clothes. For us not speaking mandarin we appreciated getting a leaflet in English from the tour organiser before arrival. We understood most of the activities thanks to that. But of course ut would have been appreciated if someone could translate to English as we still miss out on details and facts. All in all highly recommended and such a cool experience for the whole family! Our kids aged 4 and 5 loved it!

It was a great experience, allowing us to learn more about the traditional culture of the Amis people through the activities! The instructors were all humorous and lovely! The Amis traditional clothing looked great when worn, though it was indeed a bit hot to experience in the summer. I suggest going when the weather is cooler, which would probably be better! The children were very happy making bamboo rice, but it tasted bland. I feel it might be better if some seasoning were added during preparation! Archery practice was super fun and exciting! The millet wine was free-flowing, sweet, and easy to drink! My daughter raved about the BBQ meat! Cultural experiences are subjective, but at least our family had a wonderful time! There are also other activities available here. Next time, I'd like to try river tracing or other itineraries, which should offer an even better experience!

It's actually only a 15-minute scooter ride from the city center. I didn't realize this at first and thought it was far, so I opted for the pick-up service, which cost an extra 350 per person 😅. However, the whole experience was a lot of fun, and since it was a weekday morning, it was just my husband and me. The coach was very attentive, chatting with us and letting us take our time. But there were a lot of mosquitoes! I recommend wearing long sleeves and pants; they're quite vicious!

It was so much fun! The Hunter School gave us a wonderful experience! Especially Teacher Zhijie from the Hunter School, who very thoughtfully shared with us about the Amis people. The children also had a great time. We could also wear Amis clothing for photos, make bamboo rice, eat barbecue, play archery, drink millet wine... (The wild vegetable soup was super delicious, especially after a tiring and hot day). We will definitely come again next time! Thank you all!

We had a fantastic experience immersing ourselves in the Huadong lifestyle at the Malasang aboriginal hunter school. From training with locals on traditional weapons like the bow-and-arrow and slingshot to learning essential survival skills such as net fishing and starting a fire using wood, every moment was both educational and engaging. The highlight was enjoying a delicious meal of aboriginal soup and bamboo tube rice, which added an authentic touch to the adventure. Although our pickup was 30 minutes late, the overall experience was still great and well worth it!

The activity guide was very friendly. They started by introducing the traditional culture of the Amis people, then we made bamboo tube rice. Afterwards, they helped us change into traditional clothing and gave us time to take photos. Later, we experienced archery, which was a lot of fun! Next, they introduced traps for hunting in the mountains and forests, and we tried fishing with a net. We gathered around to grill small pieces of meat and sampled millet wine. Then we ate the bamboo tube rice we made ourselves; it had a subtle bamboo flavor which was quite good. Because the activity moved to a new venue, the facilities weren't yet perfect, but it didn't affect our experience. If I have another chance, I'd love to go again! 😍

It was fun although I couldn't understand much. I really loved it since I could master archery in no time, the instruction was clear. I love it! The food was nice, too.

Un guide nous a fait découvrir différentes activités : le tir à l'arc, la préparation du riz au bambou, le barbecue de viande, le port de costumes aborigènes, et la façon dont les pièges sont tendus pour la chasse à la manière aborigène. Une expérience intéressante pour tous. Un conseil très important : mettez beaucoup de répulsif anti-insectes et si vous êtes sujet aux piqûres de moustiques, couvrez-vous !

The bamboo tube rice is delicious, and the fishing lesson is also very interesting. It's suitable for adults and children to enjoy together, or for a group of friends to have fun with a barbecue and bamboo tube rice!
