De Ninh Binh: Tour opcional por Hoa Lu, Bai Dinh, Trang An e Caverna Mua

I went on a tour to Ninh Binh and Tam Coc and had a really good time! The bus was super comfy, the itinerary was fun and well-planned. We saw some beautiful landscapes and visited a few cultural spots too. The boat trip through Tam Coc was definitely peaceful and super scenic. Actually, I was hoping to see the water lilies, but I came a bit too late... but still, the views were amazing. Also, I was meeting people from different countries... totally recommend this tour!

I traveled alone, but the guide took excellent care of me. When I couldn't understand fast English, the guide re-explained it very well. The guide was knowledgeable about the places and provided interesting information. It rained a little on the day I went, but I still managed to take some beautiful photos. I enjoyed cycling in the good weather.

Our guide Jordon is professional and knowledgeable about all landmarks we visited. Unfortunately, the typhoon caused several floods in the area, especially at the foot of the mountain. I didn't choose to climb it because of the flood. It is best to visit anytime except rainy season. Anyway, it isn't the guide's or the company's fault. The weather is uncontrollable.

We participated in the tour via limousine bus and enjoyed a lunch buffet. We were picked up from the hotel at 7:30 AM. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough seating, so one child had to sit on a lap. I was worried because there was a cycling activity, but they had bicycles with child seats, so we were able to ride. The cycling was the best part; I highly recommend trying it. Lunch was served buffet-style, and we rode the Trang An boat for over an hour. The tour concluded at 4 PM, and we arrived back at our accommodation at 7 PM.

We loved this tour. We were able to see the amazing scenery of Vietnam. The tour guide is so jolly and friendly. Our tour guide, Happy, is very accommodating. He did an amazing job in granting the request of each traveler. He’s also on time when he picked us up from our hotel. The limousine is very convenient and comfortable. This package also provided us with free bottled water. Overall, we had a good time because of this activity.

The entire trip was a fantastic experience. Although it was during a Southeast Asian heatwave with temperatures over 40 degrees Celsius, and even the local guide was struggling, and most of the itinerary was outdoors, with proper sun protection, it was still a great journey. The guide explained the history and geography in very detailed and clear English. Even when some fellow travelers were a bit unruly, the guide patiently explained everything and took care of everyone. This tour is all-inclusive, from picking you up at the hotel in the morning to dropping you back off at the end, unless there are additional expenses (such as buying souvenir photos or paying extra for a car instead of cycling). It includes round-trip transportation, lunch, and entrance fees. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Ninh Binh if you're in Northern Vietnam; it's incredibly beautiful, and the guide's service is excellent.

I booked the limousine bus tour, hence with a smaller group. Our tour guide Peter was very friendly and helpful. Buffet lunch was pretty good too. I particularly enjoyed the boat ride which was great fun. Highly recommended.

Victor was a great guide, funny and knows how to make a group of strangers into friends. We had a small van - it was full to the brim. Wouldn't say that it was super comfortable, but nothing to complain since the AC was fine. Pick up and drop was at our hotel perfectly on time. We had booked only Hoa Lu & Tam Coc. The group was mixed - some had chosen Mua caves + Hoa Lu and Trang An. Since Tam Coc was minority, they asked if we would like to switch. We didn't mind, so we all switched to Trang An. They told us we could either 1. Cycle around the town or 2. Pay extra 200K VND and go to Mua caves or 3. wait at a Cafe while others completed Mua caves. We decided option 2. First stop was Mua Caves - it is quite sunny and tiring to hike, but great views from the top. Also the ground gardens ares manicured very well. Next we had lunch- standard Vietnamese buffet fare, it was just about okay, not that great. Next was cycling, but most of the group chose to not go since it was supper sunny. Next we went to Hoa Lu - it didn't take long, only 30-40 mins to cover and see all the temple. After that, Trang An was great, it was about 2 hours and they stop in between for some time. We were back to Old Quarter by 7:30. Would definitely recommend 👌
