This is an experience to see Ninh Binh. The tour was organized, the food during lunch was good, and the tour guide was patient and kind. Be sure to stay hydrated, have sunscreen, hats/umbrellas ready, and even have spare clothes/t-shirts because it is scorching hot as all the activities were outdoors.
The Ninh Binh tour was truly excellent. Our guide was very kind, explaining Hoa Lu, Mua Caves, and Trang An in detail from start to finish, and giving us ample time to spend at each location. The lunch buffet offered delicious Vietnamese cuisine, and we also had a short bike ride to enjoy the natural scenery. I was especially grateful for the extended time we had boating through the caves at Mua Caves. I highly recommend this program for a safe and fun tour. 👍
I enjoyed the tour. Pick-up was on time for designated location. Itinerary was good - not too rush for each location. Jenny was great at giving background story for each location. Area of improvement, perhaps on the safety aspect of the transportation. Seat belts not in place and the drive there was too fast…
Melody, our tour guide, was very insightful and fun to follow along with! She made sure everyone felt included, and if we needed anything, she tried her absolute best to accommodate. I would highly recommend this tour!
We really loved this trip to Ninh Binh. Our guide Mung was very jolly and knowledgeable. He explained things clearly and took us around to all the attractions as per our itinerary. Trang An boat tour was the highlight, Very beautiful landscapes and peaceful. Thanks to Klook for arranging our booking last minute
The highlight of this trip was our guide, Mr. Ben, a very chatty and humorous person who told both funny and adult jokes. His explanations of the attractions were also quite good. We happened to encounter heavy rain after a typhoon, so many people canceled their trips, and our group wasn't full, with only about twenty people. However, it didn't rain during our actual sightseeing, so our decision to go was correct. As for the itinerary itself, it was well-paced, but there was enough time for each activity. Hoa Lu Ancient Capital is like a small temple, and I'm not very interested in historical sites, so this attraction felt like a filler for me. Then we had a buffet lunch, which was like a large hotel breakfast, with a rich selection and good taste; I was quite satisfied with this meal. In the afternoon, the first attraction was a small boat ride in Trang An, which is considered the highlight. The scenery was absolutely stunning; every photo I took could be used as a computer desktop wallpaper. The only regret was that after the heavy rain, the water level rose, and the small boats couldn't enter the caves. So, it's not always possible to enter the caves, but I was still very satisfied with the overall scenery. The last attraction was climbing Mua Cave. Although it's only over a hundred meters high, there are sharp rocks everywhere on the mountain, and some places are quite steep and narrow, so climbing to the top is quite physically demanding. You should assess your own physical condition. The entire trip is a very mature and classic one-day tour around Hanoi. I think it's best to choose a large group with an English-speaking guide. Joining a temporary group with strangers from all over the world for a day, chatting with each other, making friends, and experiencing different cultures – that's what travel should feel like.
The Ninh Binh Day Tour was a beautiful and well-paced day trip. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, and even a little funny, which made the long day fly by. The standout moment for me was the boat (sampan) cruise through Tam Coc / Trang An — the karst scenery and peaceful river made it the most enjoyable part of the tour. The itinerary is packed with meaningful stops (Hoa Lu, Hang Mua, Bai Dinh) and includes a buffet lunch, which was satisfying. The only drawback for me was that the tour felt a bit crowded — if you prefer a calmer experience, the listing does offer smaller-group and private options that I’d recommend choosing at booking. Overall, a highly recommended day trip for anyone who wants impressive scenery and a solid mix of history and nature.
It was a lovely experience, more than I expected. The activities were all amazing, and the view from Cave Hundi H and the boat ride were exciting. I'm glad I purchased the package. The tour guide, Henry, is knowledgeable and well-organized. He is friendly to the tourists. The driver is good as well. I salute both of them for their hard work.
This tour was super lively and fun, but also quite tiring because of all the stairs—haha! I highly recommend Kenny; his sense of humor really made the experience enjoyable. Overall, it was a great time!
Ninh Binh is a must when visiting Northern Vietnam. The tour is physically tiring but very fun. First stop is Hoa Lu. Some areas have a strict dress code, but there is a shawl that is free to use. It was just that when we toured the area, students were also on a field trip, making the area crowded. It seemed like approximately 300 students were on a field trip. The next itinerary is the Trang An complex. The tour guide decided to do it early and have a later lunch to avoid encountering the students, making for a less crowded boat ride, which was good. Trang An is one of the best 2 hours of the tour. The heat is bearable, and the boat has a foldable umbrella. The third stop is the buffet lunch. The food is great with multiple varieties. You can choose to ride a bike along Tam Coc Village. The last stop is Mua Cave. It is 500 steps up and 500 steps down. Be physically ready. It's tiring but offers a cinematic view. Mr. Ben, the man, made the tour enjoyable. He is a complete package as a tour guide. Informative and cracks wholesome jokes. 5/5 for Mr. Ben.
