Avaliações
My daughters wanted to wear kimonos, so after searching, we came to Rei Shinsaibashi. I immediately booked it through Klook because of the good reviews and great value for money. The kimonos were so beautiful that my children had a hard time choosing. The accessories like hair ornaments and shoes were all lovely, and the makeup area and fitting rooms were spacious and excellent. The staff were also very kind and helpful. I'm satisfied and would definitely revisit. I recommend it! ^^
My 4 friends and I loved this experience. We upgraded our hairstyles and it was totally worth it. We chose an early morning reservation and enjoyed our kimonos all day. We also had plus-sized girls in our group and everyone was able to be accommodated. Really, this was one of my favorite things I did in Japan.
Before returning to Korea, I rented a kimono and participated in a Dotonbori photoshoot. The staff were very kind and helped me put on the kimono, which I greatly appreciated. It's not easy to put on a kimono, but the professionals were quick and skilled. When I returned the kimono, they also helped me take it off. If I have the chance to visit Osaka again, I will definitely come back. I wish you continued success!^^
Domo arigato gozaimasu! 👘✌️🇯🇵
That day, trying on a kimono was truly a unique experience. First, there was the furisode, which was very wide, with sleeves that almost brushed the ground. The fabric was fine silk, embroidered with elegant cherry blossom patterns, and felt smooth to the touch. The master who helped me dress was extremely skilled, wrapping me layer after layer: first the juban, then the nagajuban, and finally the magnificent outer robe. The obi was tied so tightly that it almost made it difficult to breathe. I thought this might be why Japanese women always speak softly and behave gracefully—bound so tightly, no one could stride boldly or speak loudly. A small, pillow-like object was tucked into my waist; the master said it was an “obiage,” used to secure the wide obi. The obi knot was tied at the back, very intricate, and I was told there were various styles, but mine was just the most common one. This attire inherently carried a certain dignity, as if one wasn't just wearing clothes, but donning an entire set of behavioral norms. Looking at myself in the mirror, the person reflected immediately appeared much more reserved; my back straightened involuntarily, my head tilted slightly, and even my smile became more subtle. The wonder of the kimono, perhaps, lies not in how it adorns the body, but in how it restrains the mind, teaching one to quiet down from the outside in. Wearing this garment felt like draping an entire culture over oneself.
It was only on the second day in Japan that we suddenly decided to wear kimonos. There weren't many shops available in Osaka on Klook, but this one had reasonable prices, so we confirmed the reservation. This shop is conveniently located in Dotonbori, near Shinsaibashi, and has Chinese-speaking staff. There are many styles, arranged by color, making it easy to choose. There are plenty of options for more common kimonos like Komon. The reservation package also included hairstyling and hair accessories, and the technicians were skilled and efficient. For 4 people, the entire process was completed in about 70 minutes. A very good shop.
The price on Klook is affordable, and the proprietress here is very nice. She gives away some accessories for free and provides explanations when you need them. Overall, I'm super satisfied with the service. The hairstyles are done quickly. Although the free hairstyles don't have many design options, you can feel that they are very familiar with it. The whole hairstyle takes less than 10 minutes, super fast. Highly recommended!
Osaka Rei Kimono Store is located in a super convenient spot near Dotonbori. As soon as you step out, you're on the most bustling street, and it's only a few minutes' walk to Shinsaibashi. This is a newly opened branch of an established kimono store that also has locations in Kyoto and Tokyo. All their kimonos are brand new, and the store offers services in both Chinese and English. I especially want to mention the hairstyles – they are beautifully done! Many kimono stores in Osaka charge by the hour, but this one charges by the day, and the price is comparable to hourly rates, making it very cost-effective. Surprisingly, it's even cheaper than in Kyoto. I absolutely love this store and have already recommended it to my friends.
아이가 기모노 체험하고 싶다고해서 급하게 부랴부랴 예약했는데 저렴한 가격에 잘 이용했습니다. 여름에 시원해 보이는걸로 예쁘게 잘입고 놀다 왔습니다. ^^
There weren't many people early in the morning. The service was excellent, and we could contact them via WeChat (we were half an hour late). Makeup and photography were also included. Photographer Xiao Guang was very friendly and meticulous! The overall experience was great. A small suggestion: it would be more hygienic to provide disposable makeup sponges and brushes. Everything else was wonderful!
