The kimono is really beautiful, and the hair is simple but nice. I would recommend wearing your own shoes and carrying the Japanese shoes to change into for photos. There's a lot of walking to Osaka Castle and many steps up to the Osaka Castle Observatory. The castle itself is just okay, not very well maintained, and it's extremely crowded. If you don't like crowds, I advise against visiting Osaka Castle.

I had an amazing 1-hour kimono photoshoot at Osaka Castle with Nam! He’s very professional, the photos are all beautiful, and made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. Nam guided me with poses, which really helped me feel confident in front of the camera. He’s also very patient, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Despite the large area and crowds, he knew exactly where to find the best spots for beautiful photos. He even helped carry my own camera, he is thoughtful. Overall, it was a smooth and memorable experience—I highly recommend Nam for anyone planning a photoshoot in Osaka! ✨📸

We had a great experience, from picking out kimono to the actual photo shoot. There are different options available for women’s hairstyling, some are free and others cost a little extra. One thing to be aware of is that it is a fairly long walk from the studio to the shrine and castle. You may consider bringing your own shoes for the walk, if you have difficulty walking in sandals.

You don't speak English well, no problem, the staff is very patient and will offer you the best possible service. Note that the shop is on the second floor of a building. If you look closely, it's well indicated, but if you can't find it, ask a local, they will be happy to help you. The shop is super well located in relation to Sakha Castle🥰, if you can try to book a slot all in the morning, it might allow you to have a photographer available, no need to book, they are super nice and they will explain to you the exact position to put yourself in so that your photos have the most beautiful rendering. Also, the basic kimonos are not necessarily the thickest. If you want something more qualitative, you will have to add about a payment of ¥3000. In short, it's a great experience to do alone or with your friends.

I booked a kimono rental near Osaka Castle. The shop had a wide variety of patterns and sizes. They styled our hair for free as well. Everything was clean, and the staff was super friendly. They even stored our luggage while I explored. 10/10 would do it again.

I am pretty pleased with their service. Just note that they are located on the second floor of the building. They had a sufficient selection of yukata to chose from. The space is a little cramped so it can get crowded since they also do wedding photo shoots. I highly recommend making an reservation because although they take walk ins, it was so busy the day we went that they turned down some walk ins. I also recommend making an early appt because the prep can take a while. For 2 people it took us 1.5 hours to get full ready and out the door

Friendly and accommodating staff. They will give you ideas on matching, so worry less. I enjoyed wearing a kimono even though it was cold 😆🥶 Now I'm wondering if I booked the wrong pair for the season 🥶 But still, my husband and I are happy 💖
