Rafting em Águas Brancas no Rio Telaga Waja por Bali Sobek

I made a reservation from Korea and visited. Overall, I was satisfied with the pickup, service, etc. However, there are two slopes, and while coming down the first slope, my friend's foot was severely impacted and she was badly injured. Under the guidance of the staff, she had an X-ray at the emergency room, and fortunately, it wasn't a fracture, but it was best for her to move as little as possible throughout the trip. All incidental costs for the emergency room were paid by the company, and they took care of her to the best of their ability. The reason I'm writing this in the review is because I hope that those who use the slopes will pay a little more attention to their posture when coming down. While coming down the slope is exciting and fun, I think it's very important to maintain a good posture to mitigate impact. I hope everyone can have a fun trip without injuries.

It was quite an eye-opening experience, good to visit at least once. Redemption was easy and fuss-free.

Among the white water rafting operators along the Telaga Waja River, Sobek is the best. Pick up from Nusa Dua was efficient and on time. The raft guides were top class and kept the young kids in our group safe in the cat 3 rapids. They did a lot of heavy lifting in the shallows and made our trip enjoyable. Of rafting as a family, I would recommend Sobek. If rafting with young kids, I would double-recommend Sobek for their safety record. Used them last time we came to Bali and remembered them well enough to seek them out again.

We went rafting on the Telaga Waja River because we heard it was much more dynamic than the Ayung River! All the staff at Sobek are incredibly friendly. A special thank you to Benny (Bennie?) who drove my wife and me a long distance. Thank you so much👍👍 My wife and I feel so bad that we couldn't give you a tip, and we still do even after returning to Korea... We're truly sorry, Benny. And to our rafting captain, Deuwang (??)... thank you so, so much. Thanks to you, Captain, the two hours of rafting flew by without us even realizing it. Haha. It was a time when we could enjoy the cool rafting while taking in the panoramic views of Bali's jungle. It was truly the best... Thank you!!!!

I paid more and rebooked this activity because I heard it was more fun than the Ayung River, and it exceeded my expectations. The rafting time was long, and the guide we were with led us very well. Although the water was shallow, the currents were surprisingly strong and made it exciting. The scenery during the rafting was also beautiful, and the sound of the water, the scent of the mountains, and even a waterfall in the middle made it a truly healing experience. It was tough going down many stairs to get to lunch, but once we got there, a terraced rice field view unfolded before us. After eating, we could wash up at a simple shower facility, and towels were provided. They do store your belongings, except for what you take on the boat, but it's best to minimize your luggage and avoid bringing valuables. I brought a change of clothes and changed, but my companion didn't. I put my phone in a waterproof pouch while on the boat, and it's a good idea to bring your phone and a small amount of money in a waterproof pouch (they were selling beer when we briefly stopped in front of the waterfall). My legs got a bit tanned from rafting on the first day, but it was so much fun and a worthwhile experience.

It was a lot of fun, the water was clear, and the instructor was very professional. Much more enjoyable than the Ayung River. We had a great time. After the activity, there were private rooms for showering. Behind the dining area were rice terraces, and the scenery was beautiful. The buffet, however, was really not good, but we had no expectations, so we weren't disappointed.

It was so much fun! There wasn't a dull moment. I think it might be a bit challenging for the elderly or very young children due to the long course and strong currents, but it should be thoroughly enjoyable for average adults and teenagers. The water seemed cleaner than the Ayung River, and it was cool with great scenery – absolutely wonderful. However, it's best not to expect much from lunch; there's hardly anything to eat. Beer and drinks are purchased separately, and photos are taken periodically throughout the tour, which you can buy afterward. They provide them on a USB, and the photos turned out well and were fun, so I was satisfied.
