If you want to create wonderful memories in Luang Prabang, book this Sunset Mekong River tour - highly recommended! Hospitable staff, beautiful landscapes everywhere, and entertainment on the cruise is world class!
Stunning views only ruined by the loud kareoke boats on the river. A free drink and snacks of banana chips included. I think it is best to sit on the bottom at the front of the boat, as less people blocking the view.
I went there before 4:30 and I was told to come back at 5:15 because sunset during the hotter months are later. I had to spend some time at a cafe as I didn't want to walk back to my accommodation and then walk to the meeting point again. Once we boarded we received our free drink and later on we got our free banana chips. There were only a few of us aboard this so it was really nice and cozy. We had all the time to take pictures or walk around. The staff are very kind and this was overall worth the price and the visit.
Really lovely sunset cruise. Enjoyed the drink and snack included. Length of time on the cruise was just right. Beautiful sunset over the mountains. Great way to spend some relaxing time after a busy day.
The itinerary is simple and relaxed, the staff are friendly and kind, and while the facilities aren't luxurious, they are comfortable. If you have no plans before dinner, you can come and watch the sunset!

The cruise was good and had two decks. The view was beautiful. They also provided snacks and a complimentary drink. The pickup point was easy to find.
A simple itinerary, a tranquil enjoyment, just purely appreciating the scenery of the Mekong River, watching the sunset, observing the homes along both banks – it's all about savoring this moment of inner peace!
I signed up for this tour because I wanted to see the sunset. The boat had two decks, and it was comfortable, perhaps because there weren't many people that day. The boat itself was clean, and there was no karaoke like you see on other boats, so we could quietly enjoy the city of Luang Prabang. I highly recommend it.
This was incredibly good. The sun was strong and it was hot, but if you don't board early, you won't get a good seat. You get one beer and one plate of snacks. I think it's worth experiencing at least once.
