Anong is the best tour guide ever! He is very friendly and kind. He also took a lot of good pictures for us during the alms giving. He explained a lot of information about alms giving and the history of Laos to us. It made us learn more about the culture. He also took us to the morning market and we had a coffee in front of the Mekong River. It was a really, really good experience. Anong is the best!!!

It would have been nice if we had been informed beforehand about scammers in the streets who would try to get money from us. We thought our guide had just come to pick us up early, but apparently, a random lady went to our hotel twice to pick us up and charged us 200,000 kip instead.

Although on the same day, it was actually divided into two time slots, led by different people. Almsgiving experience: Although we arrived late due to a misunderstanding of the time, fortunately, the tour guide was very kind and re-taught us the etiquette of almsgiving. They also helped us take photos and videos, and we ended up working until dawn! lol Kuang Si Falls: The waterfall has a beautiful clear turquoise color, and with the good sunshine that day, it felt like we were in a fairyland! We were also allowed to change into swimsuits and soak in the water, letting the fish nibble on our dead skin, which was a fantastic experience. (Don't worry if you didn't bring a swimsuit, you can buy one before entering.)

Such a great experience for Alms giving.. however for the transfer to Kuangsi Waterfall.. it is terrible as we expect it should be minivan for the 1 hour journey.. but end up traveled in Tuk Tuk and we have to squeeze total 12 persons on it.. my hand and leg were being under the hot sun for both journeys to and from the waterfall.. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

การทำบุญตักบาตรเป็นโอกาสที่ยอดเยี่ยมในการเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรม ไกด์ชื่อ Coffee น่ารักมาก เธอสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้เรามากมายในช่วงเช้า ไม่ใช่แค่การทำบุญตักบาตรเท่านั้น แต่ยังรวมถึงการพาชมตลาดเช้าด้วย ถนนบางส่วนที่ไปยังน้ำตกอยู่ระหว่างการก่อสร้าง ทำให้เรารู้สึกถึงความขรุขระเล็กน้อย แต่ก็คุ้มค่าที่จะไปน้ำตก ซึ่งสวยงามน่าชมและน่าว่ายน้ำ โดยรวมแล้วเป็นทัวร์ที่ดีและมีการจัดการที่ดีมาก แม้ว่าเราจะจองเพียงหนึ่งวันก่อนทัวร์ก็ตาม

Alms giving was great and would be even better if the tuk-tuk had a larger capacity instead of cramming a combined group of 5 adults (3 of whom were larger individuals). The coach service (vehicle no. 0170) picked up additional passengers (who paid cash to the driver). The mini-coach was filled to maximum capacity, causing some passengers to be unhappy about sitting on extension seats, which led to delays on the return trip. The air conditioning also wasn't working well, and it was too stuffy with so many people.

Anong ang gumabay sa amin at talagang nagpakita siya ng labis na pagsisikap! Hindi lang kami nakasama sa pagbibigay ng limos sa umaga, kundi binigyan din niya kami ng tour sa morning market at nagrekomenda ng mga lokal na pagkain! Hindi ko na mahihiling pa ang mas magandang araw na gugulin sa Luang Prabang!

Fue una experiencia buena y fascinante. Personalmente, no me gusta que sea tan turístico. Por lo demás, los guías turísticos fueron buenos y comunicativos con nosotros.

I'm glad we went with a tour guide to the alms giving ceremony so that we can learn the etiquette and respect the culture. Our guide, Mr Phai, was insightful and showed us around the morning market after the ceremony. We took a nap before heading to the falls, which were beautiful. We hiked around the falls - wear sturdy shoes as some areas are slippery.

It's a very worthwhile event to participate in, but you can also observe as a bystander. I stayed in Luang Prabang for three nights, and I went to see it every morning. I highly recommend everyone to go and see it.
