The hotel we stayed at was very close to the scenic area and had plenty of hot water. The group meals offered both Sichuan cuisine and lighter options, which the children enjoyed. On the last day, we spent half an hour exploring Minjiang Wetland Park, with its green grass and blooming flowers, which was a nice little bonus.

Just returned from a trip that started on August 6th! The high-speed train was fantastic; it took only 2 hours from Chengdu East Station to Huanglong Jiuzhai Station. Watching the Minjiang River Canyon from the bullet train was a hundred times more comfortable than a bus. On the first afternoon, we explored Huanglong. In August, the Five-Color Pond was overflowing with water, and the travertine pools, under the sunlight, shimmered with blue and green, resembling a giant gemstone puzzle. Four hours was just enough time to see the highlights. The second day was spent enjoying Jiuzhaigou. The Nuorilang Waterfall was in its high-water season, thundering like thunder, and the Five-Flower Lake was crystal clear blue under the midday sun. It was less than 20 degrees Celsius in the mountains, as cool as a natural air-conditioned room. The Tibetan welcome dinner's hotpot was better than expected; the soup base, infused with local medicinal herbs, was incredibly fresh, and the song and dance performance created a lively atmosphere. Staying two nights at a hotel at the gully entrance meant no need to move luggage, and the guide provided detailed explanations throughout without any shopping stops. The 3-day trip was well-paced and relaxing. Highly recommended for first-time visitors to Jiuzhai!

In the past, it took a whole day just to get to Jiuzhaigou, but now you can depart from Chengdu in the morning and arrive at the scenic area by noon. At Huanglong Scenic Area, we took the cable car up the mountain (80 yuan/person for the ascent) and then slowly walked down to see the Five-Color Ponds. Four hours was enough time for the visit. On the second day, the sightseeing bus in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area went directly to the core attractions, covering Shuzheng Valley, Rize Valley, and Zechawa Valley. With an average of seven to eight thousand steps per day, my parents weren't tired. Jiuzhaigou in July was lush green everywhere, the waterfalls were spectacularly voluminous, and the air was filled with the freshness of plants and streams. The Dujiangyan Irrigation System on the first day was truly awe-inspiring; it's incredible that an engineering marvel from over two thousand years ago is still functioning today, a testament to the wisdom and diligence of the ancients. Songpan Ancient City had a wonderful atmosphere, not overly commercialized, retaining much of its original charm. Strolling through the ancient city, you could feel a strong sense of history and culture. The Tibetan hotpot in the evening was superb; the yak meat and Tibetan fragrant pork were delicious, as were the various local wild vegetables – nutritious and tasty. Jiuzhaigou on the second day was the highlight of the entire trip. The colors of the lakes were truly magical, like sapphires and emeralds. Walking along the boardwalk, with the sound of gurgling water in my ears and breathing in the fresh air, I felt completely relaxed. The travel photography service was also very thoughtful; the photographer adjusted the shooting style according to my preferences, and I loved the photos. Although Huanglong Scenic Area on the third day was at a higher altitude, climbing slowly was no problem at all. The beauty of the Five-Color Ponds was breathtaking. The afternoon tea with buttered tea and highland barley cakes was very distinctive. The tour guide was professional throughout, providing detailed explanations, and the driver's skills were excellent. The accommodation was also very comfortable. This trip was truly perfect!

They even took group photos for us after we arrived at Huanglong. We spent the day exploring Jiuzhaigou, so we spent hours taking photos in the beautiful area. Our hotel had a small balcony with mountain views in the distance, and all my friends promised to do the same trip again next year! Our only suggestion is to spend a little extra time exploring the shops at the gorge entrance; it was truly perfect.

Jiuzhaigou itself is like a fairy tale world, breathtakingly beautiful, but with her companionship and care, this trip became even more unforgettable. The tour guide provided attentive service throughout, the driver drove smoothly, and the accommodation was excellent – clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Although Huanglong requires some climbing, seeing that "fairyland on earth" made it instantly worthwhile. The night view of Songpan Ancient City is incredibly beautiful, with red lanterns hanging throughout the streets, perfect for a stroll. The travel photography was a pleasant surprise; the costumes were clean and beautiful, and the photographer was excellent at guiding us, so there was no need to feel awkward. The final photos turned out much better than expected. The hot pot and afternoon tea were also a big plus; the ingredients were fresh, and the taste was authentic. The tour guide provided detailed explanations throughout, and the service was excellent. It was definitely an unforgettable trip!
