Avaliações
It was a great experience, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of old Shanghai. I recommend arriving early if you plan to do makeup and costume changes, otherwise, you'll be rushed. The food was also delicious.
The location and environment were very good. However, the ticket exchange area was small and too crowded. The food was generally acceptable, but the performance was below expectations. I was hoping for a 1930s Shanghai experience, but it was disappointing.
The customer service was attentive, polite, and very professional. The food was above average but not spectacular. Overall, the experience seemed a bit costly for the value. I was hoping for a higher level of dance performance, but the young lady singing (not lip-syncing) was very impressive. Her take on some of the classic Teresa Teng songs was quite enjoyable. Do go to the rooftop for the best view of the Bund at night after the show… it’s definitely worth it!
After placing an order, you can contact customer service via email to schedule a time and date. Customer service will then contact you via WeChat to follow up on subsequent matters. Customer service had previously explained that if you wanted to do your makeup and change clothes, you could arrive as early as 9:30 AM. I arrived at 9:45 AM and was stopped at the entrance by the security guard on the first floor, who wouldn't let me in, even after I showed my entry pass. The guard said I had to wait until 10:00 AM when the mall opened. After asking customer service, they also replied that I should just wait 15 minutes and then go in. After entering, walking to the back on the first floor will lead you to the costume rental & makeup room (the restaurant is on the 5th floor). To my surprise, someone was already getting their makeup done inside? I received number 15, and after choosing my clothes, I waited from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM, while number 13 was still getting her makeup done (there were a total of 3 makeup artists). However, the restaurant's show starts at 11:50 AM, which left me speechless. If they don't have the capacity, why do they take on so many customers for makeup? I directly stated that I refused and no longer needed it, but the makeup artist and counter staff still asked if I wanted to wait a little longer? (This show is the highlight; missing it for makeup is completely putting the cart before the horse.) I stated that I didn't need it, and the counter staff asked me to provide some information and said they would ask the original purchasing platform to refund the "makeup" portion. It has now been almost 2 weeks, and I have not yet received any information regarding the refund. I only give this trip a 2-star review. 1 star for the customer service that helped with the booking, and 1 star for the wonderful show. If you plan to come here and want to get your makeup done, please reconsider carefully (if you're just eating, you don't need to worry).
If you're looking for a special trip to Shanghai, I highly recommend it. It's truly enjoyable. There's so much to see, which makes it fun. The food isn't bad either. It's served as a course meal, presented in an interesting way. The performance planning and service planning are absolutely perfect, and although the skill level might be slightly lacking in some areas, it was still very satisfying.

The service was great, and the food and ambiance were good, but there were too many stairs, which was difficult for the elderly. The singing and dancing performances could be improved; the choreography needs more diverse elements. Since professional dancers are used, their skills should be utilized more effectively.
The overall experience, while an interesting concept, did not impress as much as I thought it would. Performances: It was enjoyable to watch the performance while having your meal, but it wasn't spectacular. Food: The quality was below average compared to other food options available in Shanghai. Some dishes were frankly questionable in terms of quality. Service: It was hit or miss, depending on the server assigned to your area/table. Ours was acceptable but not particularly attentive. Location: Easy to access along The Bund.
All the staff are incredibly kind, and the performance is truly worth seeing. Don't do anything else, make sure you experience this. There were also staff members who spoke Korean well, so there were no difficulties.
