미식의 도시 상하이를 정말 로컬 바이브로 즐길 수 있게 해준 투어에요! 우리의 가이드 TJ는 영어, 중국어, 한국어를 모두 잘하고 문화적, 인문학적 소양이 뛰어났어요! 단순히 현지인 맛집을 찾아가는 것이 아닌 “상하이 토박이의 미식 기행 다큐” 같은 느낌이었어요. 음식 뿐만 아니라 상하이 사람들의 생활, 문화, 요리에 대한 여러가지 배경 등을 설명해줘서 너무 재밌었어요. 밝고 사교적인 TJ는 투어 참여자 중 누구하나 소외되지 않도록 세심하면서도 부담스럽지 않게 투어를 이끌어 나갔어요. 그리고 푸드투어의 핵심! 음식! 그녀가 선택한 코스는 완벽했어요! 파기름면과 각종 토핑, 샹하이덕, 과일, 샤오롱바오, 셩젠바오, 망고사고까지…. 투어에서 먹은 모든 음식이 정말 맛있었고 식당도 깔끔하면서도 로컬바이브가 듬뿍 묻어나고 전통있었어요! 코스를 고민한 흔적이 보인달까요? 걷다가 먹고 걷고 차도 타고(차 컨디션 좋은 고급차로 불러줘요) 상하이에 도착한 첫 날 이 투어를 신청한 제 자신이 너무 기특했어요! 여러분 블로그, 유투브에 올라와있는 맛집만 갈게 아니라 당장 푸드투어를 신청하셔야해요…. 전 이 경험 덕분에 앞으로 다른 어떤 도시를 여행하든 푸드투어를 체험해야겠단 생각까지 들었어요❤️최고의 가이드 TJ에게 감사를 전합니다❤️

We had an amazing time with Jim! Our family really enjoyed getting to sample such a wide variety of local foods here in Shanghai. Our parents, who are seniors, especially appreciated the leisurely walk paired with Jim’s fascinating insights into the city’s history, architecture, flowers, and culture. If you’re a foodie and love Chinese cuisine, you’re in for an absolute treat! Thank you, Jim, for such a memorable experience!

Nico was an amazing guide and she was very personable. she was great for this tour and it felt like I knew her for awhile. she made the the tour, with great food and I would very much would love to do it again some day. Everything from the dumplings to the glutinous rice gelato was fantastic!

This tour was incredibly satisfying! I was so grateful to have a guide who spoke both Korean and English, which made the tour very comfortable and enjoyable! We didn't just taste food; the guide also provided simple explanations about the surroundings, making the experience very enriching! Honestly, I had been so disappointed throughout my trip because all the Michelin-starred restaurants and famous Korean-recommended eateries had been failures. The most memorable part of my trip was the guide's recommended restaurants, which allowed me to leave with good memories of Shanghai cuisine! If you're unsure where to start with Shanghai food, signing up for this tour would be a great option. The food isn't served individually; rather, you taste one or two dishes and then move to another location. So, after tasting, it might be a good idea to either pack up the dishes you liked or try similar dishes at other restaurants. [If you're still unsure, watching Trip Company's YouTube videos might be helpful! I signed up after watching their videos =)!] Oh!! For those who love tea!! Jade was my tour guide and she was excellent! She took me to many local spots and even went off the beaten path. She even helped me learn how to use the Chinese specific apps to order ahead at local places. This was a great start to my trip In Shanghai and highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy great food and explore Shanghai.

I booked this tour on my first day in Shanghai, and it turned out to be the best decision I made. I ended up revisiting some of the restaurants in the following days—I never would’ve discovered them on my own. We stopped at seven different spots, and each one was fantastic. Our foodie guide, Patrick, was incredibly friendly and engaging, sharing fun facts about Shanghai as we ate and walked between locations. The tour was lively and enjoyable from start to finish. A wonderful evening spent visiting many different food outlets and eating traditional Shanghai food. Jim was very knowledgeable about the food and drink and deliberately didn't fill us up on rice - it was all meat and vegetables. Plenty to eat - nobody left hungry. Thoroughly recommended.

Thanks to our guide TJ, we had a wonderful time on our Shanghai trip. It was easy to communicate as they were fluent in both Korean and English, and they provided detailed explanations about Shanghai's food and culture. Most of all, we were truly grateful for their kind guidance despite the cold, rainy weather, and for their sincere efforts to help us taste as many different foods as possible. I think I would have regretted it if I hadn't booked this food tour. Thanks to this, I believe I can return with great memories of Shanghai. I confidently recommend this tour to anyone considering it!

The tour was great to explore parts of Shanghai that tourists wouldn't normally know. The food was great, one of the best dumplings and potstickers I've had! Our guide, Jade, is amazing with great energy. She's also very knowledgeable and answered our questions about Shanghai. One thing that can be improved is the price of the tour. It's a bit expensive for 4-5 stops and samples. The cost is the same as the Xuyan Royal Banquet and River Dinner cruise, and you get more food at those experiences. I believe more people will book if the cost was fair.
