It was great that you stayed with us throughout the experience and took such meticulous care of us. The activity takes place in a home, and they ensure it's done safely and without time constraints. The dyeing area is like a small garden. You can see many flowers and leaves from the various plants grown all over the house. They also introduce you to plants that become natural dyes and even grow them themselves. This was my second batik experience, and it was wonderful to learn that batik styles and tools differ by region.

Amazing batik workshop! It was the highlight of my trip in Jogja, Belinda and her mum are very sweet and guide you through the process all along. It was interesting and insightful, and lots of fun to learn about the Batik Art, more difficult than it seems haha but Belinda helped me through it. Great authentic experience and super happy to have a Batik souvenir to remember this day by ☺️100% recommend

Belinda and her family were very gracious. She explained the Batik painting process and how long it takes. It makes you appreciate traditional art forms and definitely justifies why it's worth paying for traditional art pieces. Their time and effort are valuable. I hope whoever reads this, whether from abroad or within the country, understands why it's important to support local and traditional art forms. Some of these can take a week to make!

I had an amazing experience with Belinda and her mum. They were so kind, patient and very helpful and they made the whole experience super enjoyable. What I loved most was that we did it at their backyard and the dye that we used were all natural and homemade, thus it is environmentally friendly. I had a very zen and relaxing experience. I definitely would recommend this activity if you are planning to explore batik making the natural way. I suggest you do till the end of the process till you remove the wax so that you get to take home your masterpiece and frame it. Thank you

地点：稍微有一点不好找，不过按照 whatsapp 上的指示就能找到了。是一个非常漂亮的小院子，种了很多美丽的植物和兰花。 教练：非常友善、耐心，英语很好。 体验：非常开心！两三个小时的时间一下子就过去了。体验到了传统蜡染的全过程，包括图案设计、草图、上蜡、染色、漂洗等等。成果非常漂亮，我很自豪。 绝对值得来日惹的时候留半天给这个体验，你会很开心的。

A truly enjoyable and authentic experience. The team was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire workshop, making it both engaging and easy to follow. The peaceful location, tucked away from the chaos of the city, created the perfect relaxing atmosphere. Excellent value for money, I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something unique and memorable!

A truly special experience! I spent the most lovely afternoon with Belinda and her mother. The directions for finding the house were clear and the experience of making batik was calm and almost meditative. For plant lovers, the garden at the house is really amazing and I enjoyed looking at all the plants during the drying intervals. I am not artistically-inclined at all, but Belinda's clear and patient instructions meant my final product turned out a lot better than expected. As a bonus, she's an excellent photographer and she sends you high-quality photos of your experience the following day. So happy I did this!

You shouldn't miss the opportunity to take this workshop. Belinda and her mother were incredibly kind and patient. The technique used is amazing because everything is natural (dyes, fabrics, waxes, etc.). They take photos for your memories, give you snacks, and answer all your questions. Wonderful workshop 💛

Ein wirklich besonderer Nachmittag. Von dem Moment an, als ich die klaren, durchdachten Anweisungen zum Abhati Studio erhielt, fühlte sich alles einladend und bewusst an. Das Studio selbst ist ein gemütliches, wunderschönes Zuhause mit einem friedlichen Innenhof – eine Umgebung, die einen sofort entschleunigt. Belinda und ihre Schwestern waren unglaublich geduldig und fürsorglich und führten mich sanft durch jeden Schritt. Ich lernte nicht nur die Techniken der traditionellen Jogja-Batik und des natürlichen Färbens, sondern auch die kulturellen Geschichten und Einflüsse hinter den Designs. Da ich die einzige Teilnehmerin war, fühlte sich die Erfahrung zutiefst persönlich, entgegenkommend und meditativ an. Warm, nachdenklich und erdend. Ich habe jeden Moment geliebt.
